Teresa Giudice Hasn’t Seen Her Husband: Why Her Own Probation Is Making Jail Visits Difficult

Teresa Giudice is enjoying her life these days, as she’s done serving her time behind bars. She has started the production of the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and she’s working on becoming a certified yoga trainer. Teresa has set a goal for herself this year — to make $40 million — so it makes sense that she’s determined to make some money. However, Giudice hasn’t seen her husband since he turned himself in on March 23. Apparently, her own stint in prison and her criminal record are making things difficult.

According to a new Us Weekly report, Teresa Giudice hasn’t seen her husband since he turned himself in a few weeks ago. Apparently, Teresa was quick to file the paperwork to see her husband, but because she’s not completely done with her sentence just yet, the courts are not rushing the paperwork in her favor. These days, Giudice just has to wait until the courts grant her permission to visit her husband behind bars.

“All of her paperwork is in, but she’s waiting on final approval,” a source explained about her lack of visits, adding, “It takes longer because she’s on probation.”

Of course, Giudice herself was recently released from prison; she spent 11 months behind bars for fraud. She was released just before Christmas for good behavior, but she was under house arrest until February 5. These days, Teresa is still on probation, which makes it difficult for her to visit Joe.

Teresa Giudice’s children, Gia, 15, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6, are allowed to see their father behind bars, but someone has to take them to the prison. And up until February, Teresa couldn’t even leave her home. But it sounds like the family lawyer is doing everything possible to get the approval in her hands so she can go visit her husband.

“Teresa’s upset she can’t see him yet,” the source has revealed.

Of course, the family lawyer, James Leonard, has been the mouthpiece for the family, as Teresa doesn’t want to speak out about legal details. Their lawyer has revealed that Joe is adjusting in prison and he’s doing well considering the circumstances.

“He is doing as well as can be expected. I would say that he is adjusting very well. I know that he misses Teresa and their four daughters immensely, but Joe will get through this, just like Teresa did,” James has revealed about Joe’s time behind bars, according to Reality Tea. “The staff and administration at Fort Dix have all been very pleasant to deal with, they are all extremely professional.”

For a while, many Real Housewives fans thought it was interesting that Joe Giudice would be serving his time at Fort Dix, the same place where Apollo Nida was spending his time. Even though the two fathers have never met, they do have the Real Housewives franchise in common. Apollo was sentenced to eight years behind bars after getting caught up in a fraud scheme while filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, it sounds like Apollo has been moved from the prison.

“Joe said Apollo was an absolute gentleman and helped him get acclimated and that they had a nice talk,” James has revealed, with a source chiming in, “The prison staff took Apollo’s violation very seriously. He was taken out of camp with the general population and placed in maximum security.”

According to Radar Online, as reported by Reality Tea, Apollo has been removed to another prison because he was caught with a cell phone.
