Lauren Bushnell Says Wedding Planning Is Underway, Date Set For ‘Bachelor’ Ben And Lauren’s Big Day?
Bachelor star Ben Higgins and his fiancée, Lauren Bushnell, are going to be very busy over the next few months. Fans will be thrilled to hear that the wedding planning is officially underway, and it won’t be long before they are officially Mr. and Mrs. Higgins.
Earlier this week, Lauren revealed on Twitter that she was headed to her home in Marina Del Rey, California, to prepare for her permanent move to Ben’s home in Denver, Colorado. While she was in the L.A. area, Lauren paid a visit to jeweler Neil Lane to get her ring resized, a stop that prompted her to get moving on not just her relocation, but her plans for the couple’s upcoming wedding.
Now that her stunning 4.6-carat diamond engagement ring fits her ring finger perfectly, Ben’s bride-to-be says she’s ready to get the wedding planning underway and is already checking out her dress options for the couple’s big day.
Lauren picked up the latest issue of the Knot magazine that is packed with “wow-worthy” wedding dresses and showed off her newly-resized ring on Snapchat. It appears that Ben’s fiancee is going to start doing her wedding planning on the go as she travels back to Ben’s home in Denver for her official move-in.
When she returns to Denver and completes her takeover of Ben’s bedroom, bathroom, and closet, fans can expect to see more wedding-related posts on Instagram and Snapchat in the months ahead.

Unlike Bachelorette star Kaitlyn and her fiancé Shawn Booth, Ben and Lauren aren’t stalling on their wedding plans, and it sure sounds like they are going to be one of the few Bachelor franchise success stories.
Right after the Bachelor season finale aired in March, Ben told Extra TV that they didn’t want to wait long to get married and are planning a late-2016 or early-2017 wedding. Now that Lauren is very close to being settled in Denver, the next step is to set a date.
Fans who are hoping to see Ben and Lauren tie the knot on TV may get their wish. They aren’t opposed to having that happen, although they made it clear that they aren’t chasing fame during an AOL Build interview in New York last month.
Instead, they want to make a home together, get married, go on an amazing honeymoon, and settle into real life away from the spotlight. Ben recently told AOL that he plans to return to his job as a software sales rep, and Lauren revealed that she will still be working as a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines once she is all moved in.
With real jobs and a wedding to plan, Ben and Lauren have a busy few months ahead. If they do come to an agreement with ABC to get married on TV, it’s possible that the special would air at some point between the September 2016 season finale of Bachelor in Paradise 3 and the start of the next season of The Bachelor in January 2017.
Until the network makes an official wedding announcement or the couple reveals their “save the date” cards, fans will have to bide their time by following Lauren on social media.
