John Travolta Offers His Services For The Lead Role In ‘American Crime Story’ Season 2

John Travolta is trying hard to be the perfect dad for his teen. It turns out the Grease actor doesn’t interfere in his daughter Ella‘s dating life, according to People. However, he’s still curious as to what’s going on in her dating life.

John Travolta made a guest appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ show last Tuesday, bringing his wife Kelly Preston and 16-year-old daughter Ella. When Ellen asked Ella if she is dating, she said “no,” and then the American Crime Story actor assured Ellen that he wouldn’t know if she’s telling the truth or not.

John Travolta is apparently totally clueless about Ella’s dating life. But he knows one thing, though: his daughter “hangs out” with two guys.

“I’m saving her because she has two guys that she hangs out with, I don’t ask anything about what they say or do with each other.”

But John Travolta’s wife is the opposite of the Saturday Night Fever actor, as she reveals she knows “everything” about their daughter’s romantic entanglements. But, as revealed by Ella herself, she is not dating anyone at the moment. Travolta has nothing to worry about, not even those two guys she hangs out with.

But another surprise awaited Ella on the show: one even more embarrassing than talking about her dating life. After finding out John Travolta’s daughter was trying to get a driver’s license, Ellen decided to help her out.

Ellen invited Ella and John Travolta to the studio’s parking lot to check Ella’s driving skills. In particular, Ellen was interested in Ella’s parallel parking skills. And it didn’t go as smoothly as John Travolta’s daughter may have hoped, as the 16-year-old girl almost backed into a car.

And that’s when Ellen, sitting with John Travolta in the back, realized that she had to save her own life and got out of the vehicle.

In other news, it appears that John Travolta wants to be recast for Season 2 of American Crime Story, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In his interview, the Grease actor revealed that he had a conversation with the FX show’s producers, in which he expressed his interest in appearing in the second series.

“I told them I was interested and that it was up to them. I don’t think they expected that I would say that.”

Season 2 of the Ryan Murphy-directed miniseries will be centered around Hurricane Katrina. And since Katrina came close to John Travolta’s home, the Oscar-nominated actor felt the need to star in American Crime Story Season 2.

John Travolta, giving the interview with wife Kelly by his side, revealed that he had expressed his interest in the Season 2 at a screening of the finale of The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

“I’m very interested in the Katrina story because Kelly and I were actually a part of that in real life.”

John Travolta went on to explain that he and his wife were directly involved in the events of Hurricane Katrina, as they helped medics with supplies and went to parishes to provide assistance to people affected by the hurricane, which dissipated on August 31, 2005.

John Travolta was spotted in New York City last week buying a boomerang for his son Benjamin at a local toy shop, according to the Daily Mail. In the photographs, the Saturday Night Fever actor carried his son, who was holding a boomerang, a toy that always returns to the thrower.

John Travolta wore blue denim jeans and a black top. Although it was sunny that day and his 5-year-old son was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, the Grease actor wore a black puffer jacket.
