Ex-‘Bachelorette’ Star Jenn Schefft Welcomes Baby Girl Charlotte

Former “Bachelorette” star Jenn Schefft has welcomed her second daughter, Charlotte Grace, along with her hubby, Chicago-based businessman Joe Waterman. The couple announced the birth of Charlotte Grace on July 31.

The couple, who are also parents to daughter Mae, 20 months, were excited to welcome the new addition to their family, reports Us Weekly. Schefft stated that:

“We’re all doing great over here! We are so excited to have two little girls. I love that they’ll each grow up having a sister. Charlotte has been a great baby so far.”

Schefft, who rose to fame after she won the heart of Andrew Firestone on reality show “The Bachelor” in 2003, stated that her daughters will “be best friends in no time,” despite the fact that Mae is still getting used to being a big sister. Jenn Schefft added:

“Mae is having a bit of a rough time adjusting. Every morning she sees the baby, she just kind of glares at her. I think she’s wondering when the baby is leaving! She keeps grabbing the pacifier out of the baby’s mouth and taking it for herself — and she is a thumb sucker!”

Digital Spy notes that Schefft announced her pregnancy in January and took to Twitter to announce that she had given birth. She wrote:

After her love with Andrew Firestone ended, Schefft appeared on the third season of “The Bachelorette,” but opted not to pursue a relationship with the contestants. She and Joe Waterman met on a blind date in 2008 and were married in 2009.

After she discovered she was pregnant in January, Jenn Schefft stated that she was “very excited” about the pregnancy, and that, “The kids will be about two years apart, which is a great age difference.”
