Bethenny Frankel Refuses To Do Press With Rest Of ‘RHONY’ Cast

Bethenny Frankel is back on The Real Housewives of New York City once again, but she is refusing to do press with the rest of the cast. You will see the other women doing interviews and stuff, but Bethenny Frankel is nowhere to be seen when they are doing press. The reality is that Bethenny is doing her own thing and making appearances on talk shows without them.

Radar Online shared the details of why Bethenny isn’t speaking with the rest of the cast. Everyone is curious if there is a feud going on or what would make Bethenny refuse to go to interviews with him.

The other cast members of RHONY do not quite understand why Bethenny isn’t showing up, and an insider shared, “[Other cast members] feel that although they may be a ‘dysfunctional family,’ they are a family. It’s an ensemble cast.”

Everyone assumed they would do press together, but that isn’t the way it is going down. The latest season of RHONY is not doing great in the ratings, and it does sound like Bethenny returning could be part of the reason for it.

Bethenny Frankel’s rep is speaking out about what is going on, though. Their side of the story makes it sound like Bethenny feels like she has a good reason.

Here is what her rep had to say.

“Bethenny appears solo because she has a hugely successful Skinnygirl brand, a TV production company, a compelling personality and is immensely quotable. She’s the perfect guest.”

When Bethenny Frankel’s rep shared these details, they didn’t say if there is a reason that Bethenny isn’t doing press with the other women. It is obvious that she thinks that she is okay to do them on her own, but maybe Bethenny hasn’t thought about how it would make the other people on the cast feel when she did it this way. Regardless of Bethenny’s reason, the fact that they are not putting on a united front doesn’t look good in the press. Maybe they will end up doing a few appearances together.

Us Magazine shared a new preview for The Real Housewives of New York City this week. Frankel actually confronts Dorinda Medley over her boyfriend, John Mahdessian. Bethenny tells Dorinda exactly how she feels about John wanting her phone number.

Here is what she says on the new episode.

“This summer, in my house in the Hamptons, John comes in and starts pitching me business ideas when you’re not there. When you walk out to the front door, John asks me for my phone number. I’m like, ‘Ask your girlfriend for my phone number.'”

Bethenny Frankel goes on to explain that even though Dorinda is trying to get them to all like John, she just isn’t buying it. He may have wanted her number for business, but Frankel doesn’t make it sound that way. The other girls seem to agree with her from what Bethenny says. It is going to be interesting to see what Dorinda has to say back and if she still feels like John is a great guy. There may be no way at all to convince Bethenny.
