Jennifer Aniston: On Not Being Into The Celebrity Bathroom Mirror Selfie Craze, Talks Diet And Health

Jennifer Aniston is no stranger to the tabloid circus that often interferes with the daily attempts to live her life free of inaccurate claims and made up stories about she and hubby, Justin Theroux. Aniston has made it known recently that due to tabloids, the general public has a view of her life that seems a whole lot more dramatic than it actually is, and the 47-year-old has no intentions of drawing more attention to her life by putting herself intentionally in the spotlight by way of social media.

The Insider with Yahoo! News, spoke to Jen on the subject of celebrities and social media. Aniston was clear that she just would never go to the extent of using social media to bring more attention to her lovely life.

“I feel like it takes mystery away. I feel like we know too much. I’m a tabloid nightmare. My life seems so much more dramatic and interesting than it is just because of the stupid tabloids, so why would I sort of invite it myself?”

Although Aniston has got one gorgeous and fit figure, she also made the point of stating that she would not ever post a photo of herself in a revealing swimsuit, and shares that she really doesn’t understand that choice made by so many celebrities these days.

“I cannot imagine standing in a bathing suit in front of a mirror, taking a picture, and then posting it. I can barely send one to my husband, let alone y’all.”

Jen Aniston is not looking to make her figure and her private life a constant subject of interest within the plethora of media outlets that love to report on the Cake star. For years one would be hard-pressed to come across a magazine and tabloid rack that was void of Aniston on any cover. The star has always been a a part of the rumor mill for made up pregnancy claims, adoption news, and relationship woes, not to mention the apparent ongoing bad blood she feels towards her ex-husband’s wife, Angelina Jolie. It’s clear as to why Jen is happy keeping her private life just that.

Although Aniston is a bit put off by sharing anything via social media, her screenwriter and actor husband, Justin Theroux, is not. Jen’s beau has recently shared a few snaps of his gorgeous wife. However, bathing suit shots are not anywhere to be found.

When Aniston does share anything about her life with the media, it’s generally done via proper interview and the subject usually leans towards the beauty’s fitness regimens, diet and health practices that keep her looking so youthful and fit. There is a reason Aniston is the face for Aveeno, Living Proof Hair Care, and Smartwater. The star has the radiance to match the products perfectly, and Jen says it’s all due to water intake, exercise, and a healthy, balanced diet. Often Aniston’s advice sounds a bit difficult to adhere to. Her.ie shares Jen’s revealed diet tips for a healthy start to the day.

“When I wake up, I have warm lemon water and then I have a shake or avocado and eggs, which is one of my favorites. I sprinkle a little coconut oil on that. Sometimes, I’ll have a puffed millet cereal with a banana or I’ll do oatmeal with an egg white whipped in at the end. Justin [Theroux], my husband, taught me that little move to get extra protein! Right before [the oatmeal] is finished cooking, you just whip in an egg white and it kind of gives it this fluffy texture that’s delicious.”

The star does have cheat days which usually involve her selecting her favorite go-to food, pasta.

“Pasta has taken over as my new favorite go-to-town food.”

It seems as though balance and privacy are two practices Jennifer Aniston lives by and it’s certainly working in her favor.
