‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Abigail Struggles In The Aftermath Of Ben’s Return, Eric And Jennifer Hit The Sheets As His Sentence Is Determined

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday’s episode tease that viewers will see more of the Ben, Abigail, and Chad situation, while there are developments related to Eric as well. The time has come for Eric’s sentencing and this will lead to some emotional moments. What can fans expect from the April 12 show?

As fans saw on Monday’s show, Chad intervened before Abigail could kill Ben. She was quite upset with Chad for stopping her, saying that if Ben ultimately ends up killing her it will be his fault. Days of Our Lives spoilers from We Love Soaps detail that on Tuesday’s episode, Ben will be at the hospital, burned and bandaged.

As the police arrived at the DiMera mansion to deal with the situation, Chad covered for Abigail and tweaked the details about what happened. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that this continues, as Chad works to protect his wife and frame the situation as self-defense. At the same time, he is increasingly worried about Abigail’s mental state and will contemplate that she may need serious mental health support.

Viewers know that Kate Mansi is leaving the role of Abigail soon, but a final air date has not yet been revealed. It is also known that Matthew Ashford will be returning to the show as her father, Jack, for a handful of episodes this spring. Fans have been speculating for a while now that Abigail may have a full mental breakdown, leading to a stay at a psychiatric facility for a while. While a new actress has not yet been identified for the role, the buzz is that someone new will not begin airing until the fall.

Tuesday’s episode also brings news of Eric’s sentencing. Days of Our Lives spoilers detail that he will be facing five years in prison, and Marlena will be heartbroken by the news. John will be right by her side, lending his support, but it seems Eric turns to Jennifer during this rocky time. Eric and Jennifer have been growing closer and closer, but not necessarily in the healthiest way. They are both struggling with addictions, and spoilers from Soap Central tease that during this encounter, they fall into bed with one another.

This intimate encounter comes after plenty of pill-popping on her part and drinking on his part, surely making for a mess of a situation. As the week continues, Days of Our Lives spoilers share that viewers will see Marlena, John, Roman, and Jennifer bidding farewell to Eric. Greg Vaughan is leaving the role, at least for now, but there have been hints that he may not be gone for all that long.

Fans can look forward to big moments between Rafe and Hope later in the week, as they will share a kiss and he soon declares his love for her. Days of Our Lives spoilers also reveal that Hope will come clean with Caroline, telling her the truth about Stefano’s death. Deimos will be in the mix as the week continues as well, and teasers detail that connections are going to be made between Bo’s captivity, Maggie’s condition, and Deimos’ involvement.

How far will Abigail sink before she can regain her balance again? Will this be the end of Ben in Salem? Fans are bracing themselves for the emotional scenes ahead as Eric prepares to leave Salem, and everybody can bet that there will be plenty of tissues needed as the rest of this week’s episodes of Days of Our Lives play out.
