Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Take Love To New Level With Marriage & Baby Plan? He Shares Christian Gospel Song

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been enchanting fans with their unabashed affection on social media. Now the lovebirds are taking it to the next level by changing their Twitter pictures so that Gwen is showing a throwback photo of a boyish Blake, and the country music superstar is showcasing a throwback picture of his sweetheart from her teenage years, pointed out Us Weekly.

Shelton looks adorable in his blond-haired youth.

“Gwen’s Twitter is basically a Blake Shelton fanpage,” pointed out one follower.

Blake turned his own Twitter into a Gwen fan page with a picture of her from her teenage years.

And when the country crooner revealed his unexpected new single, “Savoir’s Shadow,” Stefani shared her praise.

“So beautiful,” posted Gwen.

Since they began dating in November, the lovebirds have cooed their romance on social media. But they’ve also shown that they both possess a wicked sense of humor. Blake teased Stefani about her space pants that she sported on Saturday Night Live, while Gwen mocked the repeated reports that she is pregnant by posting a sonogram picture on Instagram and teasing that it was a girl.

But when it comes to their music, both are serious. Stefani referred to Shelton as her “muse,” and he bought six copies of her latest album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like.

As for the “Savior’s Shadow” single that Gwen praised, it shows a very different side of the country singer. Shelton released the faith-based gospel song after coming up with the idea himself, noted Fox News.

The song tells about a country singer’s relationship with God and is from If I’m Honest. Songwriter Jessi Alexander credited Blake with coming up with the concept, which was written along with Jon Randall.

“He started an incredible song, a gospel song, and asked me and JR to help him finish,” explained Alexander. “It’s beautiful and moving and I can’t wait for him to tell the story. It’s almost his ‘Why Me Lord’ — it’s very deep to him and to us. It came deep from Blake’s soul and we were just glad we got to kind of help him birth it.”

Shelton revealed that he actually dreamed the song, then got up and wrote what he could recall.

“I’m so proud of this song,” added the country crooner.

“Savior’s Shadow” marks the second single from his new album, and it’s being released to Christian radio, according to WIN Country. Shelton revealed that the song came to him during a dark period of his life.

“At a very dark time in my life last year I dreamed the first verse of this song. I woke up and immediately wrote it down. Now, looking back, I know it was God’s way of telling me that he’s here and things are gonna be OK.”

His album If I’m Honest is set for release on May 20, with “Savior’s Shadow” available now, and it’s receiving praise from fans as well as his girlfriend.

As for Gwen, she credits Shelton for her creativity and positive feelings about life, according to ET.

When Stefani was asked if she’s in love with the country music superstar, she didn’t hesitate.

“Yeah, for sure,” proclaimed Gwen.

And in addition to doting on her boyfriend, Stefani is ecstatic about her future.

“I feel like I’m in an amazing songwriting place; instead of being closed off, I’m thinking about positivity and how I can do something creative….It’s so incredible to be in that zone. I’m always looking for the next song, and now I don’t have to be insecure or write about heartache.”

What does the future hold for the couple? Now that they’re so much in love, they’re looking forward to marriage, followed by the possibility of a baby, according to Hollywood Life’s insiders.

And despite those rumors that Gwen is pregnant, the lovebirds are cherishing their life as it is.

“They are enjoying being together without the baby. They would hope to be married before anything like that happened,” explained one insider.

As for how Stefani’s three boys feel, they already adore their time with Shelton. Gwen even took Apollo, Kingston, and Zuma to her boyfriend’s ranch in Oklahoma during spring break.
