Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton: Does Gwen Really Think Miley Cyrus Will ‘Steal’ Blake?

Gwen Stefani won’t get to star alongside Blake Shelton on next season of The Voice, and a recent report claims that the 46-year-old is worried that Blake will fall for the younger blonde who is taking control of the rotating chair that she formerly filled. But does Gwen really believe that Blake would leave her for 23-year-old Miley Cyrus?

Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus became pretty good buddies after the “Wrecking Ball” singer signed on to be this season’s key adviser for all four of The Voice teams. Blake kept gushing about what a great help Miley was, and he even said that he “loves” Miley during a discussion about Adam Levine’s platinum hair. Because Blake and Miley got along so well, Celeb Dirty Laundry is alleging that Gwen Stefani is worried about what might happen between the two of them when Miley Cyrus returns to coach alongside Blake during the next season of The Voice.

“Miley is basically just a younger and more relevant version of Gwen – the two women have similar styles,” the site writes. However, while it’s true that Gwen Stefani and Miley Cyrus are both fond of long blonde ponytails and mini-buns, Gwen’s “space pants” aren’t nearly as out-of-this-world as Miley’s smiling sun suit.

Celeb Dirty Laundry goes on to claim that Blake and Miley make a perfect match because they share their country music roots, and the site writes that Blake could have more fun with Miley because she doesn’t have any kids at home that keep her from partying all night long. However, according to Entertainment Tonight, Blake Shelton proved that he’s formed a bond with Gwen Stefani’s three sons by hanging out with them at Apollo’s cowboy-themed birthday party back in February. The boys also joined Gwen and Blake when they spent spring break together at Blake’s home in Oklahoma.

There’s no actual evidence that Miley Cyrus and Blake Shelton are interested in one another romantically, so don’t expect to see the new Voice coach trying to steal Blake from Gwen by pressing her red button with her infamous tongue. According to Us Weekly, Miley currently has a more age-appropriate love interest in her on-again, off-again fiance, Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth. The Last Song costars got engaged again this January, and on Friday they proved that they were still going strong by enjoying a lunch date at Gracias Madre in Los Angeles.

The Voice digital exclusive below is further evidence that Blake Shelton is not romantically interested in Miley Cyrus. He hints that the twerktastic former Disney princess might be a bit too talkative for his taste by saying that Miley’s tongue is hanging out all the time because it’s tired.

Blake Shelton treats Miley the same way he treats current Voice coaches Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, and Christina Aguilera by playfully picking on her. Blake also did this with Gwen Stefani while she was a coach show, but when she returned to be his team’s adviser for this season of The Voice, Blake did something that he does not do when speaking about his other costars: he lavished so much praise on his girlfriend that he actually made her blush.

In the video below, Gwen Stefani doesn’t know how to react when Blake dubs her a “rock ‘n’ roll goddess diva,” a “living legend,” a “queen,” and a “stud.”

“Help me!” a smiling Gwen says in response to Blake’s attempts to express just how awesome he thinks she is.

The tabloids better be careful about spending next season of The Voice churning out rumors of a nonexistent romance between Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus. Blake is currently in the process of suing In Touch Weekly for fabricating a story that he’s suffering from a drinking problem, and Fox News recently reported that U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder is likely to rule that Blake can move forward with his defamation lawsuit against the tabloid.

However, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton don’t always respond to tabloid rumors by getting litigious. On April Fools’ Day, Gwen poked fun at the persistent rumors that she’s pregnant with Blake’s child by sharing a fake baby announcement on Instagram. As The Inquisitr previously reported, a few of her followers accused her of being insensitive to women who can’t have children. Gwen fired back by letting her fans know that she thinks the tabloids are being insensitive by obsessively speculating about the status of her womb. In other words, her Instagram post was only meant to mock made-up stories about her non-existent pregnancy, not women who suffer from fertility issues. Blake sided with Gwen Stefani by labeling her critics “self appointed do gooders who b***h and moan on social media.”

What do you think of the claim that Miley Cyrus is going to steal Blake Shelton from Gwen Stefani during the next season of The Voice? Is it the most ridiculous Shefani rumor yet?
