‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers And Speculation: Is Victor Newman Planning To Fake His Own Death?

The Young and the Restless spoilers have teased that there is a character death on the way very soon and viewers have been dying to see who will be next to kick the bucket. Some new buzz is swirling that this may be a dramatic, but not necessarily entirely permanent, death and Y&R fans are anxious to see how it all plays out.

Not long ago, actors Eric Braeden, who plays Victor Newman, and Peter Bergman, who plays Jack Abbott, did an interview filled with Young and Restless spoiler tidbits. One of the things they teased was that within the next few weeks, one of the characters on the show would be dying. Rumors have been swirling since, and given the drama happening with Victor behind bars, some suspect that this upcoming death will be tied to Newman.

As viewers have seen, the warden at the prison seems quite fishy and someone is targeting Victor. While it would have been easy to have Ian aiming to take down Newman once and for all, so far it is looking like Ian is actually going to be helping Victor rather than working against him. There are hints of a jailbreak ahead, but now Young and Restless spoilers via Celeb Dirty Laundry tease that Victor may be leaving the jail in an entirely different manner.

The buzz is that Victor Newman may get killed off, but only as a scheme orchestrated by the man himself. The Young and the Restless spoilers point toward Victor faking his death, likely with the goal to stay safe from whoever is trying to get him, and surely in part as a way to get back at his family for putting him behind bars.

As SheKnows Soaps shares, this week Victor will chat with Ian about a plan to get out of the prison, but he will end up in the infirmary during Wednesday’s episode. There he will meet with Dr. Meredith Gates, to be played by Another World alum Alicia Coppola, and there are Young and Restless spoilers swirling that this doctor may become integral to what comes next for Newman.

If Victor fakes his death to get away from both his family and the threats looming at the prison, it would seem that it will be coming soon. Viewers can tell that he has a plan in mind, as he has Adam scared and connecting with everybody he can to voice his concerns over his father’s safety issues. The stage is seemingly being set for Newman to be gravely injured behind bars, but should fans worry that this may turn out to be a permanent character death rather than a fake one.

Rumors have swirled on-and-off about Eric Braeden leaving Young and Restless for years, and he has always shot down the buzz via social media. While the actor has not said anything recently about his commitment to the show, he did tease a little Y&R spoiler that fans will want to keep in mind.

Victor may be behind bars at the moment, but it would be foolish to think he is simply a sitting duck who is about to be killed off. He clearly is scheming about a way to get himself back on top again and many viewers think that the combination of Ian and Victor working together, instead of against one another, could lead to big things.

Will Victor Newman be the death that the actors referenced recently, or is someone else on the canvas about to die? Will Ian survive whatever scheme the two men are about to put together? Answers should be coming fairly soon and spoilers tease that there is plenty of action and drama on the way as this all plays out on The Young and the Restless.
