Alexander Skarsgard Goes Pantsless At MTV Movie Awards

Alexander Skarsgard presented Best Movie of the Year award at the MTV Movie Awards, dressed to the nines from the waist up, but the only thing he was sporting below his bow tie and black tuxedo jacket besides socks and shoes was a pair of tighty whities. Entertainment Weekly reports showing a little skin at the award show was a nod to The Legend of Tarzan, in which the 39-year-old actor stars.

Skarsgard proves by stripping off his pants his abs aren’t the only thing to lust over.

Fans always expect some stunning iconic style moments at the MTV Movie Awards and this year Alexander delivered, while serving up a whole new reason to love the Tarzan star. Yes! Skarsgard has great legs!

“You’re not wearing any pants,” co-presenter and The Legend of Tarzan co-star Samuel L. Jackson said to Skarsgard.

“Nope, no pants,” Alexander replied while proudly displaying his naked legs.

“Why?” Jackson asked.

“Me Tarzan,” Alexander said with a wink. “Gotta give the fans a little skin.”

Going shirtless and showing off some awesome abs to promote The Legend of Tarzan at the MTV Movie Awards may have been the obvious choice, but someone else had already beat him to the punch with the idea two years ago. Alexander came up with something a little more original and a bit more laugh-worthy. It just goes to show Alexander is not only hot, but he also has a great sense of humor. Now that is a sexy combination!

“I was going to go shirtless, but then someone told me Zac Efron did that two years ago here,” Alexander explained.

“It was a historic moment,” Jackson pointed out.

Skarsgard said he chose a pantsless moment over a shirtless one because “it’s just as sexy, but a little bit classier and – dare I say – more sophisticated. No offense, Mr. Efron.”

Jackson seemed to agree with Alexander’s choice of attire, or lack thereof.

“You definitely do look classy and sophisticated,” Jackson said, clearing his throat.

According to the Huffington Post, Skarsgard’s pantsless tighty whitey moment made the whole award show worth it. No doubt there’s now millions more ladies eager to see more of Alexander in the new Tarzan movie.

So now we all know Skarsgard prefers briefs over boxers. The real question is did he shave for the MTV Movie Award event? On closer inspection of Skarsgard’s naked legs, it doesn’t appear so, but of course, smooth legs wouldn’t be very Tarzan of him at all.

It’s true the former True Blood star’s legs are great (hairy or not), and certainly the skivvies stunt got some laughs out of the audience, but it’s a shame we didn’t get to see Skarsgard’s jungle abs. It’s well known he beefed up for the role as Tarzan. Alexander certainly made a sexy vampire in True Blood, but with all that added muscle, he makes an even hotter jungle man.
