Ariel Winter Shows Off More Bikini Shots On Instagram

Ariel Winter has been having a bit of a coming-out party as a bona fide cutie in the last few weeks. The Modern Family actress has been getting away from the uneven temperatures this spring in the United States by heading off to the Bahamas. Ariel Winter is hardly making this a solo vacation as she’s brought a couple of friends along as well as longtime boyfriend Laurent Gaudette.

As she did earlier in the week, Winter shared a number of shots of herself enjoying the sun, the surf, and the waves, donning a rather revealing white and gold bikini on her Instagram page. These shots have stunned those who know Winter from her turns as Alex Dunphy on Modern Family. Ariel plays the daughter who doesn’t appear all that into boys and instead cares more about making sure she’s getting the grades. The character rarely shows off any skin at all, so these snaps are a bit of a shock to her fandom’s system.

Ariel Winter’s first shot that raised eyebrows from this trip was one in which she was lying out on a rock in that same very skimpy bikini. Us Weekly reports that the same day she posted that solo picture of herself, Winter posted a photo showing her arms around two of her friends. The shot was taken from behind, and it appears Ariel Winter has a pretty good sense of humor because she titled the photo “beach bums.” Considering what’s visible in the shot, it’s a safe bet that Winter was well aware of the double entendre she included in the caption.

The young actress is gaining quite the following in the teen set as well as those who appreciate her outspoken nature when it comes to women’s rights issues. She’s gone through a number of intense changes to her physical appearance over the last year. Among those changes is a breast reduction surgery she went through because she felt as though she had “freakishly large” breasts. After undergoing that surgery, she made a number of comments saying that she felt she was much happier and more confident than she had ever been before the surgery.

Ariel Winter also made the decision to show off her breast reduction surgery scars as a way to show off she wasn’t embarrassed by her body. While she was lauded by most the internet for that decision, there were some body shamers who clearly felt their opinions were needed on such a personal issue. Some less drastic but noticeable changes Winter has also made in just the last few weeks were changing her hair color and getting a tattoo. Ariel Winter went from being a brunette to a redhead and her flame-colored hair is certainly on display in the pictures she chose to share of this vacation.

When she got a tattoo on one of her hips, she showed that off on Instagram as well. For that photo she captioned the pic “peep tattoo 1 of 3.” That seems to hint at the fact that she’s got ink somewhere else that we haven’t spotted yet. Ariel Winter’s biggest change over the last few years is when she was able to get emancipated from her family. Winter has talked early and often about the poor treatment she received especially at the hands of her mother. It would seem that, despite the fact that the emancipation happened a while ago, this trip might have been a way to celebrate Winter’s newfound freedom. It’s a safe bet Ariel Winter will be showing off even more of her trip in the coming days. Ariel Winter appears to finally be comfortable in her own skin.
