Karrueche Tran Not Interested In Dating? Model Admits She Has ‘No Intention’ Of Getting Into A Relationship
Karrueche Tran may be living the single life after calling it quits with longtime boyfriend Chris Brown last year, but it doesn’t appear that the model is interested in getting back into the dating scene anytime soon.
Just days after Karrueche spoke out against new rumors suggesting that she and Chris Brown had gotten back together earlier this month, Tran dished on her current relationship status to Emily Oberg during a segment with Complex for the site’s video series “Get Sweaty With Emily Oberg.”
In her interview, which took place during an intense TRX workout, Karrueche admits that while she’s “100% single,” she’s too focused on her career and family to entertain a steady relationship.
When asked whether or not she’s currently seeing someone special, Karrueche explains to Oberg, “Girl, I am 100% single. I have no intention on getting in another relationship. I am so focused on myself and work and family that I don’t even want to bother. I’m good.”
However, when asked what type of qualities she looks for in a guy, in the event that she starts dating in the future, Karrueche admits that “personality and respect” are the most important in a relationship.
“Personality and respect. How they treat me…of course, there’s other things…you know, looks and how they dress, but that’s kind of just extra. It’s all based on how they treat me. I love a guy that can make me laugh, so, a guy with some humor is very important,” Tran reveals.
In addition to her relationship status, Karrueche also dishes on a few of her upcoming projects, including her new film A Weekend with the Family alongside co-star Marques Houston, before revealing how she manages to stay in great shape despite her hectic schedule.

“I have a movie coming out called Weekend with the Family, it’s a romantic comedy,” Karrueche explains, noting that she’s taking the role “seriously” in order to help build up her repertoire as an actor.
“It’s something that I’m definitely taking seriously, and you know, it’s new for me. I have a long way to go and a lot more projects to do. And that’s where I’m at right now, just doing projects now to build myself as an actor,” Tran concludes, before dishing on what Instagram blogs are her go-to source for finding quick fitness tips amid her busy schedule.
Karrueche’s interview comes just days after the model spoke out against rumors suggesting that she and Chris Brown had reconciled despite their heated Instagram spat last month.
On April Fools’ Day, reports surfaced suggesting that Karrueche and Chris Brown were spotted kissing in a picture posted to Tran’s Snapchat account, prompting the model to slam the claims during an interview with Power 106.

When one of the radio hosts explained the newly surfaced dating claims between herself and Chris Brown, Karrueche made a confused face before replying, “No. I am so single, so so so so single.”
“I’m not into anybody,” Karrueche reveals when asked if she’s interested in being set up with one of Marques Houston’s friends. “I don’t have time for nobody! All these dudes ain’t…you know the rest.”
When asked what type of guy she’s interested in dating, Karrueche lets out a laugh before throwing a little shade at Chris Brown with, “Clearly the wrong one!”
Despite her reluctance in starting a new relationship amid her busy schedule, Karrueche seemingly hinted at her desire for romance when she took to Twitter earlier this week to write, “tryna go on a baecation.”
