Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth In First Public Appearance Since Rumored Reunion

There were reports of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth reuniting in January after social media reports of the couple hanging out at the Falls Music & Arts Festival at Byron Bay just before other reports of Miley and Liam ringing in 2016 together in Australia. Now Entertainment Tonight has released photos of a public outing that seem to confirm that the two are back together.

The Miley-Liam outing was a Friday lunch date in Los Angeles with some of Hemsworth’s family. Lately, Cyrus has been once again wearing the engagement ring Hemsworth gave her in 2012. And once again, it’s on “that” finger. Back in February, there were also reports of moving vans outside Liam’s house in Malibu, California, – moving vans hired by Miley. Rumor mills have been frantic with news of their on-again-off-again-romance being back on along with wedding plans. Those rumors have not been officially confirmed but Friday’s lunch date did happen, so fan hopes are at a higher level than ever.

Vegetarian Cyrus and vegan Hemsworth had lunch with his brothers Chris and Luke, as well as Luke’s wife Samantha. They dined at a vegan, organic restaurant called Gracias Madre that’s located in West Hollywood, California. In 2013, Chris commented on his thoughts about Miley and Liam getting back together.

“I’m happy if he’s happy, whatever he’s doing in life… I can’t confirm any of that but, you know, he’s smart [and] he’s happy.”

Although Miley Cyrus doesn’t typically shy away from cameras, it’s believed that Hemsworth doesn’t like the scrutiny that comes with photos, the probable reason there are not more pictures of the couple circulating on the internet. Back in early February, a source told People that, “Miley has been surprisingly low key,” then added that it “seems like she is trying to make sure Liam is happy… They haven’t been out in public, because Liam doesn’t like the paparazzi chaos.”

The same source indicated that Cyrus and Hemsworth are indeed engaged, but that they are taking it slow in planning their wedding, a change to Miley’s usually fast-paced life.

“They don’t have a date… They are moving surprisingly slowly. Miley seems to have matured a lot. In the past, she tended to rush things. She acts much more calm and happy now.”

In early March, People once again reported that Miley is making every effort to make Hemsworth happy. Their source told them this.

“For the past few weeks, they have lived a very secluded life… When they are not working, they rarely leave home. They often have people over for dinner, and Miley has gone from a wild child to a housewife.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s different temperaments have been an issue in the past, and Miley is trying to deal with this differently than she has in the past.

“Liam couldn’t handle when Miley acted nutty… Miley’s problem was that she thought Liam was boring when he complained… [Miley is] toning things down and acting more normal… She even stopped hanging out with friends that are too wild. She is very focused on making things work with Liam.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth met in 2010 during the filming of The Last Song, a coming-of-age story based on a Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name. Their relationship has been up and down ever since. Miley has called it her first serious relationship. They announced their engagement in June of 2012 but ended their relationship the following year in September.

Miley Cyrus is 23-years-old. Her father is country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and her mother is Tish Cyrus. Her birth name was Destiny Hope. As a child, she earned the nickname Smiley, which was later shortened to Miley.
