‘The Vampire Diaries’ Actress Heading To ‘Supernatural’: Elizabeth Blackmore Cast In Recurring Mystery Role

Elizabeth Blackmore of The Vampire Diaries is heading to another paranormal show on The CW network. The TVD actress is going over to Supernatural in a recurring mystery role.

Blackmore first appeared in The Vampire Diaries as a heretic named Valerie Tulle. Elizabeth made her TVD debut in the season 7 premiere, titled “Day One Of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give Or Take.” As the season wore on, Blackmore’s character became a huge part of The Vampire Diaries storyline. In a surprising twist, Caroline Forbes (Candice King) discovered that Valerie was Stefan Salvatore’s (Paul Wesley) lover from centuries ago.

When the midseason premiere of The Vampire Diaries aired, viewers saw a three-year flash forward. It revealed that in the future, Stefan and Valerie were once again getting close. This did not make “Steroline” fans happy at all. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, many TVD viewers are still hoping that Caroline and Stefan get back together again.

It is not known if Elizabeth will leave The Vampire Diaries or if the actress will appear on both TVD and Supernatural at the same time. It is not uncommon for actors to have more than one acting gig at a time, but scheduling can be an obstacle. One example of this is Alycia Debnam-Carey, who left The 100 because of her starring role in Fear The Walking Dead.

As for Blackmore’s role in Supernatural, not much has been revealed. E! Online only wrote that Elizabeth has been cast in a recurring mystery role and has some things in common with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). Blackmore will be playing Lady Toni Bevell in Supernatural and will make her debut appearance later in season 11. However, expect to see much more of Elizabeth in season 12.

“Blackmore, who can also be seen on AMC’s Turn, will be taking on the recurring role of Lady Toni Bevell, first appearing in an episode later this season, and will return for an unspecified number of episodes in season 12,” E! Online wrote regarding Elizabeth Blackmore‘s character in Supernatural. “A mysterious visitor from across the pond, Lady Toni Bevell will actually have a lot in common with Sam and Dean.”

TV Guide speculated that Elizabeth Blackmore’s character in Supernatural might be another hunter. What else could she have in common with the Winchester brothers? Another theory is that she could be a villain or have a connection to one of Dean and Sam’s hunter friends.

“At the moment, the Winchesters are neck-deep in their dealings with ‘The Darkness’ on the show, but that arc is, in theory, going to wrap up at the end of the current Season 11,” TV Guide wrote about the current storyline on Supernatural. “Is it possible that’s going to happen with the help of this mysterious Lady Toni Bevell? We’ll have to wait and see.”

Besides The Vampire Diaries and her upcoming stint in Supernatural, Elizabeth Blackmore has other acting credits. She played Natalie in Evil Dead, Isabel in Skin Deep, and Sarah Livingston in TURN: Washington’s Spies. She also appeared in Burning Man, Legend Of The Seeker, and the television series Beauty And The Beast.
