‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Norman Reedus Knows Who Negan Kills In Season 7 And It’s Not Good

At the end of Season 6 of The Walking Dead, Negan made his long-awaited debut and Jeffrey Dean Morgan pulled the role off perfectly. Once the season finale was over though, there was a lot left to be desired as no one has any earthly idea who he killed since it was a cliffhanger. Well, there is someone who knows what happens in Season 7 and that would be Norman Reedus aka Daryl Dixon.

Please let it be known that there are possible SPOILERS ahead for the current season and comic book of The Walking Dead. If you don’t want to know them, stop reading now.

There have been so many theories about what took place at the end of the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead, and what will take place at the beginning of the Season 7 premiere. Everyone believes they know who Negan kills and the names thrown out have been Glenn, Daryl, Rick, Maggie, Abraham, Carl or anyone in that lineup.

The thing is, no one really knows who it was. Sure, they can guess and come up with assumptions. In the graphic novel of The Walking Dead, it’s Glenn who meets a horrific and earth-shattering fate thanks to Negan and his barbed-wire-covered baseball bat named Lucille.

While that’s the direction that the graphic novel takes, it may not be the direction that the television series of The Walking Dead takes.

Norman Reedus appeared on the Today show to promote his upcoming movie called Sky. As expected, he was asked about being Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead and the recent cliffhanger season finale that just aired on Sunday.

As for that season finale, he said that there was a purpose to it and it was to “show the change of power.” That certainly happened as Negan debuted and let it be known that he’s the one calling the shots now. Going on, Reedus didn’t necessarily give away what happens, but he did reveal something.

“I know what happens…and it’s gut-wrenching.”

Well, that’s just a punch in the gut because it is going to be awful when The Walking Dead returns, but no cast member is going to give it away. Reedus continued on by saying that there were “crew members crying,” and that just adds to the horrific nature of the fall premiere.

Cinema Blend did point out that his reveal may completely destroy the idea that no one actually knows who died. He did later go on to say that the cast of The Walking Dead made a pact and a promise to not learn the identity of the person killed by Negan.

Over the past couple of weeks though, other cast members have said that the season finale made them sick and that they didn’t even want to return to work. Some have said they were left speechless by what takes place and others like Chandler Riggs (Carl) are still clueless.

None of the cast are going to reveal whether they honestly know who Negan kills or not. There is no need to put that kind of pressure on themselves as it will be nothing but people hounding them and trying to force them to give up that information.

The cast of The Walking Dead already has so much on their shoulders, so it may seem best to just dodge those types of questions. Reedus may have let something slip, but he covered it up nicely and kept things under wraps.

The premiere of Season 7 of The Walking Dead is about six months away as AMC typically brings it in October and likely will again. It is then that the identity and fate of Negan’s victim will be revealed. There are so many that it could be and Norman Reedus knows that whether it is Rick or Glenn or Daryl Dixon or anyone else, it’s going to be very bad and very hard to take.
