‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising’ NSFW ‘Red Band’ Official Restricted Trailer Gets Buzz — So Do Zac Efron’s Abs [Video]

There is a secret that Zac Efron uses when he wants to show off his best possible set of abs: Zac “dries out” by not drinking any liquids on the day of his photoshoot. Well, the Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising official restricted trailer below shows the work Efron continues to put into his muscles, as Zac’s character shows up to help the married couple played by Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne once again, as they deal with an unruly set of sorority girls next door.

Warning: The following “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising – Official Restricted Trailer (HD)” video contains language and situations that might be offensive to some viewers.

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising doesn’t hit theaters until May 20, but already, the official restricted “red band” trailer is getting plenty of buzz on the Universal Pictures YouTube channel. Uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, April 7, the Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising official trailer has already received more than 10,000 views.

In this Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising sequel to Neighbors, Mac and Kelly — the married couple at the center of the story — are once again dealing with an out-of-control group of college students next door. But this time, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising pits Seth and Rose against a group of female college students — not the unruly group of frat boys who appeared with Zac in the original, which included dead-on impersonations of Robert De Niro characters from Meet the Parents and Taxi Driver.

This time, Efron’s character helps the mom and dad played by Rose and Seth by battling against Chloë Grace Moretz, who stars in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.

It appears to be a raunchy sequel to the raunchy 2014 original movie, which was deemed the most popular original comedy that year. This time, the main characters are dealing with expanding their family, and as the trailer opens, they deal with the issue of trying to be intimate without making a lot of noise and waking up their child.

Since Mac and Kelly are expanding their family and looking forward to the impending birth of their second child, they are also performing the important task of selling their home. The trailer shows the real estate agent quipping that they hope another fraternity doesn’t move next door prior to the sale of the home. Although a group of frat boys doesn’t move in, the trailer shows worse happenings occurring when sorority girls move in — and they perform antics just as bad, if not worse, than the boys.

Drug use, car crashes, and other dangerous antics ensue.

The description of Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising tells the tale.

“…Just as they thought they’d reclaimed the neighborhood and were safe to sell, they learn that the new occupants next door are a sorority even more out of control than Teddy (Efron) and his brothers ever dreamed of being.

“Tired of their school’s sexist, restrictive system, the unorthodox ladies of Kappa Nu have decided to start a house where they can do whatever the hell they want. When Shelby (Moretz) and her sisters, Beth (Kiersey Clemons) and Nora (Beanie Feldstein), find the perfect place just off campus, they won’t let the fact that it’s located on a quiet street stand in their way of parties as epic as the guys throw.

“Forced to turn to the one ex-neighbor with the skills to bring down the new Greeks next door, the Radners—alongside best friends Jimmy (Ike Barinholtz) and Paula (Carla Gallo)—bring in charismatic Teddy as their secret weapon. If he can infiltrate the sorority and charm his way through it, the thirtysomethings will shutter the Kappas’ home. But if they think that their neighbors are going down without a fight, they have severely underestimated the power of youthful ingenuity and straight-up crazy.”
