Inside Leonardo DiCaprio’s Flashy 38th Birthday Bash, And His New Love
Leonardo DiCaprio knows how to party in style, so it’s no surprise that, for his birthday, he went all out. A story is circulating about his “Wolf of Wall Street”-style treatment that the star experienced for his 38th birthday.
The event, which allegedly happened three years ago, was an event to end all events. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Red Granite Pictures spent over a million dollars making sure that DiCaprio had the time of his life.
According to a source, before DiCaprio got an Oscar of his own for The Revenant, someone purchased a $600,000 Oscar of Marlon Brando’s to present to Leo.
The event was described as “pure debauchery.” Seeing as DiCaprio’s life is filled with making out with Rihanna in random clubs, yachts and various jet setting, debauchery is a very broad term. The source went on to explain the following.
“The Red Granite guys were having a competition on who could spend the most money on champagne service. They spent over a million dollars buying bottles that were brought out by scantily clad women, with sparklers on each magnum that were $25,000 each.”
We may never know the real tale behind Leo’s long lost 38th birthday party, as Red Granite denies this event ever happened. That said, we do know that he had at least one birthday celebration for his 38th birthday.
According to Perez Hilton, DiCaprio was partying hard in New York City with a bunch of famous A-listers at NY hot spot The Darby Downstairs. DiCaprio was joined by “Emma Watson, Robert De Niro, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Mark Ruffalo, Edward Norton, Jonah Hill, Martin Scorsese, Jamie Foxx, Swizz Beatz, Chris Rock, Busta Rhymes, Kevin Connelly, Russell Simmons, and Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr.”
Back then, DJ Lino Meoli, who attended the event, said that DiCaprio was beat boxing into the mic with rapper 2 Chainz and was joined by a few of his buddies on stage.

So, even if we never find out about the Wolf of Wall Street-like party, at least we can safely say that DiCaprio had an awesome 38th birthday back in 2012.
At the time he had recently split from Victoria’s Secret model Erin Heatherton. Flash forward three years later, and it looks like Leo has a new model in his life — Victoria’s Secret model Chelsey Weimar.
It’s said that the two were seen leaving hot spot Nobu together. Page Six points to Chelsey’s Instagram page as proof that Leo is seeing the model, after she posed in his home. That said, this might be just a speculation, because a source told Page Six that he’s essentially too busy to date anyone.

“It’s not true. He isn’t spending time with anyone. Most of his time lately has been in places like Indonesia, trying to help save the ecosystem.”
DiCaprio has a long history with models that dates back to 1996 with Kristen Zang. Leo went on to date Bridget Hall, Amber Valletta, but his most publicized relationship was with Gisele Bundchen, who he dated for five years. After they ended in 2005, DiCaprio moved on to Bar Refaeli, who he dated on and off for seven years, until he moved on to Erin Heatherton, and eventually Toni Garrn, his last serious girlfriend.
As for Leo’s partying ways, the last we heard about DiCaprio and his “debauchery,” he was giving Jennifer Lopez advice on where to go clubbing. Lopez was on James Corden’s show when their car karaoke session turned into unexpected hilarity when Corden hijacked J.Lo’s phone to text DiCaprio. While he had Lopez’s phone he asked if Leo had any suggestions for her because she needed to let her hair down, and he replied minutes later to the delight of Corden, with the question, “Club wise?”
