Vince Neil And Nic Cage Get Into Brawl In Las Vegas After Neil Assaults Woman In Hotel

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas is obviously not true, because the brawl between Nic Cage and Vince Neil was caught on video and shared on social media around the world. The scuffle happened after Neil allegedly assaulted a female fan inside a hotel on the Las Vegas strip, and Nic Cage intervened.

E!online is reporting that the Nic Cage and Vince Neil were both at the Aria Hotel. Vince Neil allegedly accosted an unnamed woman, and Nic Cage then grabbed ahold of Neil, trying to either stop him or calm him down. The woman in question received minor injuries, according to the Las Vegas Police Department. In the video, Nic Cage can be heard commanding Neil to cut it out.

“Stop this s–t now,” Cage can be heard saying.

It is unclear whether either or both men are drunk in the video, but after a short time, Neil seems to give into Cage, and allowing him to embrace him, while Cage continues trying to soothe Neil.

“You’re OK,” Cage adds. “I love you.”

Police cited Neil with misdemeanor assault, and he will have to appear in court at a later date.

The Daily Mail said that Vince Neil, the former Motley Crue frontman, had allegedly just attacked a woman inside the Aria Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas by forcing her to the ground by her hair. Cage and Neil are allegedly friends, but Cage was dressed nicely in a royal blue suit that was well tailored, while Neil was wearing an old t-shirt and camo cargo pants, and appears sweaty and disheveled.

It is being reported that Vince Neil is now the subject of a criminal investigation in Las Vegas, as the woman is reportedly pressing charges. Bystanders at the Aria Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas say that the woman came up to Nic Cage inside the hotel and asked him for an autograph. For some unknown reason, Vince Neil then got behind the woman, grabbing her by the hair, and pulling her to the ground in front of Nic Cage. Cage then pushed Neil outside and that is when the video starts.

The Las Vegas Sun is reporting that this is not Vince Neil‘s first brush with the law in Las Vegas, and not the first issue involving assault. In 2011, Vince Neil was charged with battery and disorderly conduct in a domestic assault/abuse event. The event took place at the Las Vegas Hilton between Neil and former girlfriend, Alicia Jacobs.

Jacobs told police that Vince Neil’s drinking frightens her, and on the night in question, Neil was harassing her and her friends, and started pushing her and poking her in the chest, leaving bruises. A witness wrote down a statement for the police.

“I’m wholly confident in my own recounting of the events I witnessed that night and the conduct of Vince Neil. As this has now become a legal matter, I can’t comment any further.”

A year prior to the incident at the Las Vegas Hilton, Vince Neil was arrested in Las Vegas for drunken driving. As a result he spent ten days in the Clark County Jail. Neil has a history of substance abuse, and was driving under the influence in another incident where his passenger, another musician, died.
