Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Headed For Divorce? Alarmingly Skinny Star’s Weight To Blame?

Angelina Jolie has not been the perfect picture of health in recent months. As the Tomb Raider star continues to lose weight, rumors are starting to mount that her marriage with Brad Pitt is heading for a break-up. Is her alarmingly skinny appearance at the root of their issues?

Jolie has made several public appearances lately and her thin frame has alarmed many fans. According to Examiner, the reports of unhealthy weight loss have fueled rumors that the actress is battling anorexia. Numerous reports claim Pitt is tired of dealing with Jolie’s health scares and has issued her an ultimatum. If she doesn’t start to improve her eating habits, then Pitt is willing to divorce.

“[Brad is] so worried about her dying and loves her so much that he’s willing to divorce her as a wake-up call. It’s too hard on him and the kids to watch her waste away,” an inside source told the site.

In addition to the rapid weight loss, it has also been rumored that Jolie is currently battling cancer. Although these rumors have not been confirmed by anyone officially, Jolie did undergo preventative cancer treatment back in 2013. The actress had a double mastectomy in order to combat her 50 percent chance of developing ovarian cancer.

Meanwhile, News Everyday is reporting that Angelina Jolie’s struggles with her weight are at the core of her marriage problems. In fact, Pitt has apparently gone to great lengths in order to get help for his ailing wife and is willing to do anything to get her to turn things around.

“Brad has done everything to get Angie to focus on her health… He’s watched in despair as Angie sometimes goes all day without eating,” a source told the outlet.

The reports concerning Jolie’s weight began to reach new heights after her recent appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3. Although Jolie appeared skinnier than ever on the red carpet, The Bit Bag is reporting that the actress has lost even more weight since then.

Apparently, Jolie’s weight problems have led to stress on her relationship with Pitt, which in turn has resulted in the actress losing even more weight. If Jolie doesn’t turn things around soon, there’s no telling what may become of her marriage.

“The strain of fighting with him and their impending divorce have sapped her strength and caused her to lose even more weight,” a source explained. “It’s going to be bad if she doesn’t put the brakes on soon. She’s overworked, overstressed and emotionally overburdened. She’s headed for a complete physical and emotional breakdown.”

At the same time, Pitt has been connected with other women outside of his marriage with Jolie. This includes Pitt’s desire to get actress and model Cara Delevingne to work with him on a new project. Although it isn’t clear if Pitt has any romantic feelings for Delevingne, an insider has revealed that he wants her to become a permanent team member of his production company.

“Brad thinks Cara’s talents haven’t been explored properly and he wants to take her under his wing,” the source stated. “He’s hoping she might sign an ongoing deal with his company.”

Despite his attempts, Delevingne has yet to commit to a project with Pitt and has reportedly turned down a role in the sequel to World War Z because of scheduling conflicts. For her part, Jolie is currently working on her upcoming film, First They Killed My Father.
