Khloe Kardashian Blamed For Lamar Odom Boozing? ‘KUWTK’ Star Suffers Amid Partying, Drug, & Divorce Rumors [Video]

Lamar Odom was discovered unconscious in a brothel after a drug and alcohol binge just months ago. Rushing to his side, his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, put their almost-finalized divorce on hold to make his medical decisions, then supported him month after month in the hospital. And now, after recently recovering enough to leave the medical center, Lamar has been seen drinking again in a bar. Odom is blaming his estranged wife for his return to booze, according to the Mirror.

What will it take for Lamar to stop drinking? Odom reportedly feels that he’s playing a game with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians (KUWTK) reality TV star, and Lamar wants to stop “pretending” and get real responses from her.

For now, however, Odom supposedly puts the blame for his bar visit on his rocky relationship with his estranged wife. Lamar wants her to clarify their relationship and says he’s drinking because of the uncertainty, according to a source cited by the Mirror.

“[Odom] has told her it makes it hard for him to quit drinking. He thinks they are back together, but then he doesn’t really know. When it comes to Easter, he feels like he’s a part of the family, but then the next day, he doesn’t.”

Kardashian has said that although she will remain faithful to Lamar, the couple has not been intimate in many years. They broke up in 2013 following their 2009 wedding.

Even though Khloe spent months with Odom in the hospital and has supported him since his departure, Lamar remains unclear about the status of their relationship. Moreover, Odom alleges that the reality TV family members are exploiting him in order to boost their publicity.

“No more pretending to be man and wife. Lamar is feeling used for publicity by the Kardashians. He wants to know if they’re still a couple. But she can’t give him a definite answer,” added the insider.

For the KUWTK star, however, the knowledge that Odom is drinking again is painful, bringing back memories of the days when he was allegedly abusing substances.

“His drinking blindsided her – he says he’ll never touch drugs again, but just knowing he was in a bar brought up old fears.”

As for the worries that Lamar will abuse drugs and alcohol again, Kardashian was horrified when she learned that Odom had been partying at an Irish pub mere hours prior to the family church service, according to a source cited by OK.

And that led to an ultimatum when it came to Lamar and his health.

“They had a heated confrontation, and Khloe demanded that Lamar take a drug test right there on the spot.”

Although Odom denied taking drugs, the reality TV star refused to believe him, adding even more tension to their relationship.

With all of this stress between them, an insider told People that the two are not reuniting romantically, especially after Lamar was seen drinking with friends at a bar. Odom is not heeding her concerns that alcohol could harm him.

“Lamar refuses to listen to her,” revealed the insider. “He actually said to her, ‘Nothing will happen to me. Look how I survived the last time.'”

But the risk that Odom is taking by drinking is causing Kardashian to suffer.

“She cares for him so much and she just wants him to stay healthy. His near tragedy devastated her. It was such a painful time. She doesn’t want to go down that road again – for either of them.”

And she’s not the only one among the Kardashians to worry about Lamar. The entire family is concerned that Odom is returning to his habits of partying and drinking, an insider told Us Weekly.

It’s been six months since Lamar was discovered unconscious. The cause was a combination of alcohol and drugs, and that’s why the family is worried about his sobriety, according to that insider.

“Khloe and the family are concerned Lamar could go back to his old ways.”

Odom recently went to his first Lakers game since his medical crisis. Lamar was described as upbeat and appearing healthy. However, when it comes to how he is supporting himself financially, it’s his estranged wife who has taken on the task of “fully supporting” Odom.

“This is a huge wakeup call for Lamar, for his friends and family,” noted one insider. “Everyone is just really hoping for the best.”

Consequently, the question about when and if their divorce will be finalized has just taken another turn. Lamar is aware that Kardashian is angry about his decision to drink, and so Odom has a new plan to prevent a divorce, a source told Hollywood Life.

“He’s promising her he’ll go to rehab, if divorce is off the table. Deep down, Lamar wants to get better but even more than that, he wants Khloe in every way.”

Will Odom succeed by manipulating the KUWTK star to agree to his wishes?

“Under no circumstances does he want to lose her again and he knows that going to rehab will be just the thing to make their marriage work,” explained the source. “It’s a win-win for Lamar but he doesn’t always make the best choices.”
