Justin Bieber Blames Taylor Swift For Failed Selena Gomez Reconciliation [Report]

Justin Bieber is allegedly placing the blame firmly on Taylor Swift for his recent problems with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Hollywood Life is reporting that Bieber is pointing the finger at Taylor for being the reason that he and Gomez have not reunited in recent weeks and supposedly blames Swift for the “issues” that have arisen between himself and Selena since their break-up.

“He never expects Taylor to be her friend and is not looking to be her friend,” Hollywood Life‘s source is claiming of Justin, but he “blames Taylor for some of his issues with Selena and that will never go away.”

“Justin knows Taylor doesn’t like him and never will and the feeling is mutual,” the insider revealed to the site earlier this week, “but he is smart enough to know not to say anything in public or on social media because he knows all the scrutiny he’d endure.”

Hollywood Life‘s claims come shortly after it was widely reported that Justin and Selena had been looking to spend more time together in recent weeks, with E! News even reporting that Bieber ended up canceling plans for a recent date night with Gomez.

“Justin wanted to rent out the Staples Center after his concert to do a repeat date night screening of Titanic for Selena because he is trying to get back with her,” a source revealed after Gomez was spotted at Bieber’s concert on March 23.

But instead of making the grand gesture, Justin instead “called it off” for unknown reasons, though the site’s source did confirm that Justin “is really obviously trying to date Selena again.”

Though Justin hasn’t publicly revealed why he decided to call off his plans, Hollywood Life‘s claims that Swift may be behind Selena and Justin staying broken up come just days after Taylor wasn’t exactly playing coy about her feelings towards Selena’s ex at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on March 3.

Us Weekly reported earlier this week that Swift and boyfriend Calvin Harris, who were sitting at the same table as Selena Gomez, had a more subdued response to Bieber’s performance of “Love Yourself” at the music awards show and simply “politely clapped” before “quickly taking a sip of her drink” as those around her applauded.

Taylor also seemed similarly unimpressed when Justin and his fans, the Beliebers, were announced as the winners of the Best Fan Army award.

The site also speculated that Swift’s unenthusiastic response to Justin’s appearance at the awards show comes after Taylor supposedly “encouraged Selena Gomez to dump Bieber and permanently end their on-again, off-again relationship back in 2013.”

Though neither Selena nor Taylor have ever confirmed or denied that report, Hollywood Life did claim earlier this month that Swift was attempting to encourage Gomez to move on from Bieber for good by giving her a little advice in the romance department.

Just last month, as Taylor celebrated her first anniversary with Calvin Harris, the site reported that Swift had been dishing out some guidance to Selena when it comes to dating and is encouraging Gomez to “have an open mind and heart” before getting back into the dating game.

“She never brags about her relationship with Calvin. Instead, she reminds Selena about her own heartache and how she overcame her own obstacles and eventually met Calvin” a source close to Swift supposedly told Hollywood Life earlier this year.

“Selena would give anything to be in a relationship like Taylor and Calvin’s, to have this type of commitment and respect for each other would be a dream for Selena,” the inside source continued of Gomez, before adding that Taylor “just tells her to keep believing that her time will come and not to settle.”
