The Kardashians’ Reaction To Rob and Blac Chyna’s Engagement May Surprise You

Everyone knows that the Kardashians are among the most popular families on television. People are drawn to the way their lives are so intertwined and complicated that it makes them look less like a family and more like a bunch of actors playing roles.

In fact, that is how Khloe Kardashian described the situation between couples Kylie Jenner and Tyga and Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna.

During her talk show Kocktails with Khloe last week, the reality star said that her siblings, Rob and Kylie, dating former couple Tyga and Blac Chyna looks like it came out of a soap opera.

“So my brother is dating Blac Chyna, my sister Kylie is dating Tyga, who is Chyna’s baby daddy; now my brother is dating Chyna, make sense? That’s a lot,” said Khloe.

“I need a piece of paper to show you guys because it is like confusing. It is like a soap opera episode, so it sounds very dramatic, which it is,” she added while talking to guests Trey Songz and Kendra Wilkinson Baskett.

The words “very dramatic” seem like an understatement now that Rob and Blac Chyna are engaged. The 29-year-old Rob popped the question earlier this week, to the shock of the entertainment world.

However, it is worth noting a day passed without a single Kardashian tweeting or reacting to the engagement. Considering the family is heavy on social media postings, one can only wonder why they have not made any comments regarding the engagement of the family’s only brother and son. The family’s reaction seems to be more of a non-reaction at this point.

An insider said that the family has agreed not to make any comments on social media. The news of the engagement was not shocking and not totally unexpected for the family.

On the other hand, while the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan have kept their mouths shut on social media, Kylie’s rapper boyfriend, Tyga, had something to say.

“Everybody deserves 2 be happy. What some1 does for their happiness is not my concern, as long as it’s not interfering wit my happiness,” Tyga posted on his Twitter account.

He also added that he is glad that Blac Chyna, with whom he has a young son named King Cairo, is happy.

However, the 27-year-old rapper pointed out that he is concerned about his son’s situation.

“I want him in happy environments. He’s innocent in this. & I want him to feel as much love as possible,” he said.

In response to netizens who have been making fun of his son, Tyga said that “only an evil heart would direct negativity at a child,” especially in situations he cannot control.

Tyga ended the post by saying that he is lucky to have such a blessing that he will love unconditionally. He added that he will do what it takes to protect that blessing.

“Cherish yo own blessings and stop hating mine,” Tyga concluded.

As for the newly engaged couple, an insider told reporters that the two are planning to make their own spinoff series, mainly because Blac Chyna does not want to be on the same set with her fiancé’s siblings.

“Rob and Chyna have been thinking of ideas to make an amazing spinoff. An engagement and wedding planning are of course very interesting and would attract viewers,” says the source.

Tyga and Blac Chyna began dating in 2011 and were together until 2014. The two welcomed their child, King Cairo, back in October 2012. Before 2014 ended, the rapper reportedly got linked to Kylie, and their relationship was made official in August 2015.

After struggling with depression, health issues, and a contentious relationship with the Kardashians, Rob regained his feeling of self-worth once he started dating Chyna. The couple announced their relationship in January of this year.
