‘RHOBH’ Yolanda Foster Is Her True Self After Filing For Divorce: ‘It Feels Good’

Yolanda Foster is currently in paradise, where she’s been sharing a number of inspiring photos and messages with fans.

In one of her latest posts, shared on Instagram on Sunday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who filed for divorce from husband David in January, spoke of having the clarity she needed to become the most authentic version of herself.

“It feels good to remember who you are before the world told you who you should be…….. #Solitude #Authenticity #Clarity,” Yolanda Foster wrote on Instagram on April 3.

Yolanda Foster was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, but after having a leaky implant removed last summer, the reality star and mother of three appears to be doing much better when it comes to her health. And now, instead of her typical “sick selfies,” she’s been sharing a number of “happy selfies” with her many fans and followers online.

Just this week, Yolanda Foster has posted photos of her beautiful view in Tahiti, as well as photos of herself in a swimsuit enjoying the atmosphere.

Yolanda Foster and her husband, David, parted ways in December of last year as filming concluded on the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and as the show continues, fans are seeing what led up to the shocking split.

During an episode of the Bravo reality series in March, Yolanda Foster and her co-stars, including Erika Jayne, Kathryn Edwards, and Kyle Richards, flew to New York City, where Yolanda Foster was being honored for raising Lyme disease awareness, and while there, David was overheard talking about their relationship. During his chat, David explained that he simply wasn’t convinced that he and his wife, Yolanda Foster, would be able to get their relationship back to the way it was before she was diagnosed with Lyme disease.

A short time later, Yolanda Foster and David’s split was confirmed with press.

“Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways,” Yolanda Foster and David said in a joint statement to People Magazine in December 2015. “We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.”

After Yolanda Foster’s split was confirmed, her boss, Andy Cohen, weighed in on the relationship she had with David, claiming he wasn’t caught off-guard when he heard they would be parting ways.

“I wasn’t surprised,” Cohen admitted of Yolanda Foster’s divorce during an Ask Andy segment at the end of last year. “I wasn’t surprised because, you know, in every relationship there’s a flower and there’s a gardener and I think maybe he thought he was the flower in that relationship and [Yolanda Fostser] was the gardener and she was taking care of her lemon tree, which was David Foster, and then maybe she became the flower because she was sick and needed to be taken care of. And also, she was getting famous from the show.”

Although Yolanda Foster filed for divorce months ago, her split from husband David has yet to be finalized.
