Ginger Zee Shared Her Love Story On ‘Dancing With The Stars’, Baby Adrian Also Made His ‘DWTS’ Debut

It was a celebration of special moments, as Dancing with the Stars had its Most Memorable Year week on Monday night. The celebrities shared what year has shaped their lives into what they are today. Good Morning America’s chief meteorologist, Ginger Zee, told the story of the most important time in her life, and it had nothing to do with her career as a weather girl.

Ginger chose to share her love story with husband Ben Aaron and their life since then, which includes their 3-month-old son, Adrian. In the taped segment that was shown, the new mom took her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, to a fountain in New York City. However, it wasn’t just any fountain. It was the place where she had her first date with her husband, her first kiss with him, and also where he ended up proposing to her. She joked that the only thing that didn’t happen was having her baby there.

Zee told her dance partner how focused she was on her career before Ben came along. Her priorities have now shifted a bit after they married and started a family. The native Michigander is in a very happy place right now.

In a separate interview, Ben confessed that he knew from the moment that he met Ginger Zee that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. It was such a sweet moment and that is what led to Ginger choosing “Home” by Phillip Phillips as the song that she wanted to be dancing to for her and Val’s contemporary dance routine, as reported by Gossip Cop.

From her previous comments on Good Morning America, Ginger has taken a liking to Phillip Phillips and loves his famous tune. Her coworkers even surprised her with a special visit by the singer one morning on the show while she was still pregnant, and she was thrilled, and even a little bit flustered. She loves his song so much that her husband got hold of the sheet music to it and they had it framed. It is now hanging up in their home.

As soon as Ginger and Val got out on the dance floor, they were so captivating. The audience loved their routine, but what did that judges think?

All three judges gave them sevens for a total of 21 out of 30. That was okay for Ginger as she zoomed across the dance floor to plant a big smooch on her husband, who was very proud of his sweetheart. Val looked a little left out as he stood there awkwardly waiting for them to finish so they could get their scores. Ben saw that and gave Val some love as well as the two men jokingly embraced.

Ginger Zee made the comment as she stood before the judges that she never felt like she could have it all, but now she feels like she does. During the after-dance interview with Erin Andrews, Ginger got a nice surprise when Ben went to meet her with baby Adrian in his arms. However, the little guy was not a happy camper. He was quite inconsolable, even after his mommy had him in her arms trying to calm him down. Maybe he didn’t like the loud noises from the audience or maybe he was just unhappy with his mommy’s scores, but his voice was definitely heard.

Adrian may have been a little cranky as he had his very first plane ride, as was posted on Instagram by Ginger. He is seen sitting on Uncle Val’s lap, and they both look a little tuckered out.

In a short segment on Tuesday on Good Morning America, Ginger and Val both agreed that they were proud of their routine last night and she praised him for his choreography of their contemporary dance.
