Miranda Lambert And Boyfriend Anderson East Hit ACM Red Carpet, Avoided Blake Shelton?

Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend, Anderson East, made their red carpet debut on Sunday night, April 3, during the Academy of Country Music Awards, and also at the event was Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband, Blake Shelton.

Although the former couple has attended other post-divorce events, Sunday night marked the first time Miranda Lambert hit the red carpet with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Blake Shelton was solo, and now, rumors are swirling regarding a possible tension between Miranda Lambert and her ex.

“[Miranda Lambert] completely stayed away from Blake the whole time he was there,” an eyewitness told Radar Online on April 4. “She completely avoided him.”

During the event, Miranda Lambert’s ex-husband, Shelton, took the stage, where he performed his new song, “Came Here To Forget,” which is reportedly an account of how he moved on from his divorce from Miranda Lambert with Gwen Stefani, with whom he stars on The Voice. However, rather than acknowledge the track, which was reportedly inspired by her, Miranda Lambert chose to focus on her man.

“[Miranda Lambert] made it a point to tell everyone he was her boyfriend, and she was very affectionate with him,” the source told Radar.

Then, after the show, Miranda Lambert and her boyfriend attended an after party at the Four Seasons, which Shelton was not present for.

Around the time of Radar Online‘s report, a source spoke to E! News, denying Miranda Lambert avoided her ex-husband.

Miranda Lambert “did not avoid him,” a source told E! News on April 4. “She just did not go out of her way to bump into him. If they did, she would [have said] hi.”

Miranda Lambert “was not nervous at all” about the possibility of seeing Shelton.

“[Miranda Lambert] is in a totally different space than [she was] months ago. She has no issues with Blake and is happy that he is in a good place in his life and also in love,” the source explained. “Blake and Miranda were married, so they are not strangers. Miranda will always have a certain love for Blake, but the romantic and forever feelings are gone.”

Weeks before Miranda Lambert began dating East, her ex-husband, Shelton, went public with his relationship with Stefani, which began on The Voice Season 9, and continued through the currently airing 10th season, on which Stefani serves as an advisor for Team Shelton.

As for Miranda Lambert’s relationship, the E! News source claimed Alabama-born R&B singer Anderson has a “crazy connection” with the 32-year-old.

“Whenever they are together they act like two free spirits…[Miranda Lambert] adores Anderson. They understand each other,” the source explained. “Anderson has given Miranda this confidence she hasn’t felt in some time. They are very supportive with each other and their careers.”

“Anderson and [Miranda Lambert] are serious,” another source added. “They have met both sides of their families. Both their families love what they have. They seem like they are in such a great place. They spend so much time together. They are also very involved with Miranda’s animals. That’s a big part of her life and Anderson is a huge animal lover.”

Miranda Lambert and East have kept a pretty low profile since the start of their relationship last year, and aside from a few comments here and there, and a couple of social media posts, they haven’t let fans in on what exactly is going on between them.
