‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Praises Lawyer On Twitter Despite Custody Loss To Corey Simms

Leah Messer may have lost custody of her 6-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, to her ex-husband, Corey Simms, during filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 7, but luckily, she hasn’t held it against her attorney. In fact, according to a new tweet, Leah Messer couldn’t be happier with her representation.

On April 3, Leah Messer posted the following tweet to her fans and followers, which also included a sneak peek at the upcoming episode of Teen Mom 2.

In the sneak peek, Leah Messer was seen arriving at her attorney’s office, where she learned that primary custody had been awarded to Simms after a hearing days prior. After her lawyer sits her down and informs her that she doesn’t agree with the decision, which was most definitely not in Leah Messer’s favor, she informs the mother of three (Leah Messer is also mom to 3-year-old Adalynn with ex-husband Jeremy Calvert) that the judge chose to award primary custody to Simms in an effort to ensure their children would arrive at school on time.

Understandably, Leah Messer was upset by the issue, but for fans, it likely won’t come as too much of a surprise due to her behavior in the first couple of episodes of Teen Mom 2 Season 7. Just last month on the MTV reality series, Leah Messer was seen struggling to get her kids to school. After being unable to feed them before they left, she was slammed by her daughter, Aleeah, who noted that her father and his wife, Miranda, always feed her before they leave in the morning.

While there has been some pretty damning evidence of Leah Messer’s bad parenting on Teen Mom 2, the reality star claims it is MTV’s fault that she looks so bad on the show. Last month, in a series of tweets to fans, Leah Messer respond to a fan who claimed she wouldn’t appear on the show for all the money in the world due to the alleged bad editing.

“My point exactly. It’s so sad how the person behind the editing can even live a happy life by editing to manipulate the audience watching. It makes me feel like my story just isn’t enough,” Leah Messer told fans.

Leah Messer went on to reveal that she “hit rock bottom” but did not confirm whether or not she was referring to accusations of drug use or mental illness.

“I DID hit rock bottom but I come out of it and I was willing to air it ALL because if just ONE person watched and reached out for HELP even when they feel so ALONE that’s all I cared about because I could NEVER imagine ANYONE feeling the pain, hurt, depression AND anxiety that I WAS suffering from,” Leah Messer continued. “It would break my heart! I wanted to bring awareness and HELP others and if MTV couldn’t share that then I will do it on my own the way God wants me to!!!!”

“It hurts to feel BETRAYED by the ones I THOUGHT I could trust with my story. It goes to show you how ‘THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD’ really is,” Leah Messer added.

For more Leah Messer, tune into Teen Mom 2 Season 7, airing this and every Monday night at 10 p.m. on MTV. Check out a sneak peek at tonight’s new episode below.
