Iggy Azalea’s Fiancé Gets Caught Cheating, Rapper Still Rocks Engagement Ring At iHeart Radio Awards

Wearing super chic high-waist trousers and a sexy crop top, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea walked the iHeartRadio Awards red carpet while flashing her 10-carat yellow diamond engagement ring.

The singer kept the $500,000 ring in check as she posed solo for the photographers. The 25-year-old rapper showed up at the event with a slicked-back hairdo and full plum-colored lips, a far cry from when she was spotted earlier in the day make-up free and lugging around her Louis Vuitton luggage.

In an interview with E! News’ Jason Kennedy, the equestrienne/singer admitted to being nervous about her performance that night. It was her first time performing live onstage without another artist singing with her.

Iggy chose the iHeartRadio Awards show to break out her new solo song, “Team.” She further revealed that her new track revolves around positivity and staying true to oneself.

Furthermore, during that red carpet interview, the performer went on to acknowledge what a turbulent year 2015 had been for her.

She quipped, “I wanted to not breeze over that. I wanted to acknowledge how I felt about it, and I just wanted to say, ‘You know what? I think it’s fine if everybody doesn’t support me because I am a believer in myself.”

Iggy put on a brave face during the awards show amidst swirling rumors of her cheating fiancé. Reports of the alleged cheating by her 10-month fiancé, Nick Young, surfaced after the NBA player was captured on camera admitting that he got frisky with a 19-year-old at a nightclub. The video, which went viral on Wednesday, showed Young telling teammate D’Angelo Russell about the fling.

The power performer, who has had several collaborations with fellow singers, took to Twitter to address the issue.

This was later on followed by another tweet, this time addressed to a fan, in which Iggy says she is “not tryna marry a cheater” and that someone would be doing her a “favor” by sharing actual proof of the Lakers basketball star cheating on her.

Ahead of her Sunday performance for the awards show, she also tweeted a series of inspirational messages that encouraged everyone to be nicer to each other on social media.

One of her tweets read, “I really urge everyone to try and speak to others online with the same level of courtesy you’d give someone standing right in front of you.”

It seems like Iggy has put these troubles behind her during her Sunday solo performance. Aside from showing up all slick and chic on the red carpet, the rapper took her performance up a notch when she turned up onstage with a life-size private jet.

She closed the awards show with a full-on rocking performance along with her team of dancers and that unmistakable Iggy Azalea style and attitude.

Rocking attitude aside, Iggy also has her BFF Demi Lovato to lean on during this scandal. In her interview with E! News, she gave a shout-out to the 23-year-old songstress for always being there by her side.

She candidly went on to say about their friendship, “Demi is awesome and it’s so cool we live so close to each other because I can just roll down to her house and knock on her door and harass her and eat her food in her kitchen when I don’t have groceries.”

Prior to the iHeartRadio awards show where Iggy Azalea proudly wore her yellow diamond engagement ring, she delivered a performance of “Team” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
