Alicia Vikander Makes Time To Celebrate Birthday With Boyfriend Michael Fassbender?

Alicia Vikander got exponentially busy after winning an Oscar for her performance in The Danish Girl. While she has been in the shadows of her older boyfriend Michael Fassbender for the majority of their relationship, she is now the far more hyped one of the two.

So the fans are wondering if the actress made the time to spend his 39th birthday with the Irish actor.

“Equally known for his insane good looks and his impressive acting skills, Fassbender frequently turns heads while hitting the red carpet,” reports In Style. “With so many projects and films to promote, and while attending his girlfriend and Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander’s many scheduled appearances, […] The man knows how to clean up for special occasions and always arrives looking sharp in his best suit.”

Looks like Michael was there to support his successful girlfriend every step of the way. If they are as dedicated towards each other as they are in public, then it’s no question that they spent this birthday apart from each other.

Their relationship went immediately public when her name was called up as the Best Supporting Actress 2016.

While they have not publicly confirmed their relationship status, Alicia’s father went ahead and revealed their status to the world.

“But while neither Alicia Vikander or Michael Fassbender have verbally affirmed their relationship, it appears her father Svante Vikander has done the job for them after referring to the Shame actor as ‘Alicia’s boyfriend’ during a recent interview with a Swedish publication,” reports Daily Mail.

If her father is comfortable calling the X-Men star his daughter’s boyfriend, then Michael and Alicia must be at a pretty secure place as a couple.

Even though it’s Michael’s birthday weekend, he has been working hard to stay on the front-lines of Hollywood buzz. The latest rumor about him is that he is very likely to become the next James Bond when Daniel Craig retires from chasing down the bad guys.

“The Kerry native made the list of actor’s most likely to take over the role from Daniel Craig who is said to be saying goodbye to the role,” reports the Irish Examiner. “Michael was previously 20/1 to be the next 007 but the actor’s odds have now been slashed to 12/1. Unfortunately, the X-Men star still faces stiff competition from hot favorites Tom Hiddleston at 2/1 and Tom Hardy at 5/2.”

While the competition is stiff to become the next James Bond, the birthday boy has the edge over the others in that he now has an Oscar nomination for Best Actor under his belt. He also has been in a handful of action movies, showing that he has more than enough experience to tackle being a secret agent on the silver screens.

Alicia is also busier than ever, gearing up for shooting the Bourne 5 movie, while also meeting her obligations of turning up at fancy events after winning her first Oscar.

“She’s had a stellar start to the year with an Oscar win for her acclaimed performance in The Danish Girl. And Alicia Vikander indulged her other big passion on Wednesday night, marking the end of Paris Fashion week by hitting the Louis Vuitton after show dinner in a very stylish ensemble,” reports Daily Mail.

Her career is spinning out of control, which means that the Swedish actress may be too busy for her boyfriend now. But Michael recently confessed that he realizes that many things are out of his control and that he plans to play things by ear whenever he can.

“I’m very aware that things are going very well for me today, but that doesn’t mean things will be like that tomorrow,” he said according to Irish Independent. “Who knows what might happen in the future? I’ll just take it beat-by-beat, find good stories, good directors to work with. That’s it, really. Whatever happens outside of that is out of my control.”
