‘DWTS’ Week 3: Emotional ‘Most Memorable Year’ Dances Will End In Another Elimination — Who’s Going Home April 4?

Dancing With the Stars moves into its third week of competition on Monday, April 4, and the two-hour show will be filled with emotional dances performed by the remaining 11 couples. This week’s “Most Memorable Year” theme will feature songs that celebrate unforgettable moments in the celebrities’ lives.

One of the not-so-memorable moments on Monday night’s show will be the elimination of one of the couples. Last week, Geraldo Rivera went home. While that wasn’t a big surprise to most fans, it’s a toss up this week as to who will dance for the last time this season.

Which songs did the celebrities pick for their April 4 performances and who is rumored to be on the DWTS chopping block on Monday, April 4?

Fans can expect a mix of tissue-worthy performances and a few dances that will take you back in time. See a full list of the songs and dance styles below and a look ahead at who is rumored to be leaving on Monday night.

According to ABC 7 reporter George Pennacchio, former NFL star Doug Flutie’s Most Memorable Year dance is “going to be emotional” and fans can “expect tears.” Doug and his partner Karina Smirnoff will be dancing the waltz to Rainbow Connection performed by singer Andra Day.

Doug has not announced who he will pay tribute to, but there’s a good chance it’s either his son who has autism or his parents, Dick and Joan Flutie, who died one hour apart on November 18, 2015.

Back in November, Doug announced on his Facebook page that his father was ill and died of a heart attack while hospitalized. Just one hour after his death, his mother died from a sudden heart attack.

“They say you can die of a broken heart and I believe it,” Doug told his fans.

If you are a fan of ’80s television, Kim Fields will be bringing a little nostalgia to the dance floor with her partner Sasha Farber. Kim, who played Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsey on The Facts of Life from 1979 to 1988, will perform a Foxtrot to the show’s theme song.

E! News states that Kim’s performance on Monday night will include a “little roller skating, a little nod to the Mrs. Buttersworth’s syrup vibe, a little fox trotting.”

Here’s a look at the songs all 11 couples will be dancing to this week:

  • Foxtrot — Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe: Rise Up; Kim Fields and Sasha Farber: The Facts of Life Theme Song; Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess: 7 Years
  • Contemporary – Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy: Home; Von Miller and Witney Carson: In the Air Tonight
  • Waltz — Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold: The Star-Spangled Banner; Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff: Rainbow Connection
  • Jive — Marla Maples and Tony Dovolani: Happy
  • Samba — Mischa Barton and Artem Chigvintsev: Party in the USA
  • Tango — Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd: Verge
  • Paso Doble — Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas (or his alternate): 300 Violin Orchestra

Who is rumored to be going home on Dancing with the Stars Week 3?

Last week, the three celebrities at the bottom of the leaderboard were Antonio Brown (19), Kim Fields (19) and Mischa Barton (15). The judges’ scores, combined with fan votes, will determine who will be eliminated on Monday night.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has a huge following from NFL fans and their votes may save him from elimination. Kim Fields, who recently announced that she is leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta, has fans from both the Bravo reality show and Facts of Life, so she has better odds of sticking around for another week than the lowest-ranked Mischa Barton, who Radar Online reports is a “nightmare” on the DWTS set.
