Justin Bieber Dreadlocks iHeartRadio Awards

When Justin Bieber took the stage on Sunday at the 2016 iHeartRadio Awards, the singer debuted his latest hair style by sporting dreadlocks for the performance, Entertainment Weekly reported on Sunday.

The look did not catch his fans by surprise. Justin took to Instagram to show off his new hairstyle before taking the stage on Sunday. Through multiple pictures he posted on his Instagram account, Bieber showed off his new look.

Prior to sporting dreadlocks, Justin had been seen with his hair in corn rows earlier this year, The Mirror reported on Sunday. The 22-year-old performer reportedly had the look during an April 2 concert in Salt Lake City. Bieber kept the look despite numerous costume changes, meaning the dreadlocks could be a more-permanent look for the “Sorry” singer.

In another picture posted roughly an hour before the start of the show, Bieber is seen riding in a car. Justin did not include a caption for any of his pictures, leaving open the timing of when the photos were taken. Fan reaction to the dreadlocks Justin Bieber is now sporting has been mixed when examining comments made on the photograph posts.

As for the performance itself, Justin was part of the opening of the iHeartRadio Awards ceremony. Bieber took the stage to sing “Love Yourself” and his newest song “Company” for the event.

Justin enjoyed some company during his performance as Bieber grabbed a fan and danced with the lucky individual from the audience.

Justin has been nominated for five iHeartRadio Awards, including Best Fan Army and Male Artist of the Year, Billboard reported. Bieber is jointly nominated with Skrillex and Diplo for Best Collaboration for their hit song “Where Are Ü Now.” Earlier this year, Bieber took home his first Grammy Award of his career, scoring the Best Dance Song win for his collaboration on the same song.

Justin Bieber has been in the news almost daily in 2016 thanks to his immense following – especially fans’ interest in his love life. To kick off the new year, Bieber and long-time friend Hailey Baldwin appeared to be dating, especially after Justin posted a picture of the two kissing on New Year’s Day to ring in 2016.

Bieber later confirmed that he “loved” Hailey in an interview with a magazine, The Inquisitr reported. The two also appeared together at parties around the Super Bowl in San Francisco in February, but neither Justin nor Hailey confirmed the two were dating.

Despite all signs pointing to Justin moving on, Beliebers are holding out hope that Justin and on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez will reunite. Late in 2015, Justin and Selena sparked rumors because the two reunited for a semi-private evening at a Beverly Hills hotel bar that was caught on camera by a fan.

Rumors even sparked that Bieber was in a love triangle with Selena and One Direction’s Niall Horan, although a kiss at a party may be the only intimate interaction between Gomez and Horan. Although Justin continues to share pictures of Selena when the two were a couple, there also appears to be no relationship budding again between the two.

Bieber has also been romantically linked to Kourtney Kardashian. In a radio interview in January, Justin would not address the rumors other than complimenting another long-time family friend of his.

In late February, Bieber delighted his fans by leaking a new song to his massive following. On the website SoundCloud, Bieber posted “Oh Girl” for his Beliebers to find, a sensual song that showed off his crooning ability, The Inquisitr reported.
