Gwyneth Paltrow Continues Her Mini Tour Of South America With Her Kids
Gwyneth Paltrow is currently enjoying some quality family time with her daughter Apple, 11, and son Moses, 9. The actress took her kids on a trip to Peru for vacation this week after leaving Buenos Aires, Argentina, where her ex-husband and the kids’ father, Chris Martin, was performing with Coldplay as the kickoff to their A Head Full of Dreams tour.

Gwyneth, Apple, and Moses were spotted in Buenos Aires last week with Martin, which sparked a lot of conversation. However, it’s not unusual for Gwyneth to travel to see Chris perform even though they’re no longer together. As part of their uncoupling, the two have stayed close, especially when it comes to their kids, often spending birthdays and holidays together.
And it seems Gwyneth is currently taking the kids on a spring break tour of South America. She’s been keeping fans up to date on her travels with her family through Instagram, posting multiple photos of herself and her kids enjoying their vacation. So far, they’ve petted llamas, went to the top of Machu Picchu, visited Peruvian villages, and took in the beautiful scenery. Paltrow’s kids seem to be enjoying themselves, as is Gwyneth, and it seems this will be a family vacation they never forget.

Although Paltrow and Martin have since finalized their divorce, that hasn’t seemed to affect their relationship in any negative way and may have even made their relationship better. The two are still very close and Paltrow even told Glamour they’re still “very much a family.”
“We spend a lot of time together,” Paltrow told the magazine back in February. “We’re not living together, but he’s more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids. We’ll have a weekend all together; holidays we’re together. We’re still very much a family, even though we don’t have a romantic relationship. He’s like my brother.”
Recently, Martin publicly opened up about the separation-divorce for the first time and explained to The Sunday Times that his divorce is a “weird one” and how he suffered depression for a year after the split.
“I still wake up down a lot of days,” Martin told the newspaper. “But now I feel like I’ve been given the tools to turn it around.”
It sure seems that way. Both Paltrow and Martin are happy now whether they’re together or apart. They’re on such good terms that Paltrow even made an appearance on Coldplay’s new album A Head Full of Dreams, as did Martin’s new girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis.
Martin explained the reasoning behind having both women on the album during an interview with The Wall Street Journal.
“Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives,” Martin said. “This is The Wall Street Journal, so I don’t want to get too hippie, but what I’m trying to learn in my life is the value of every human.”
Along with Gwyneth, their children, Apple and Moses, also make an appearance on the album, as does Martin and Paltrow’s good friend, Beyonce, and her daughter Blue Ivy.

Gwyneth’s family vacation is well deserved and maybe well needed. Her work on Captain America: Civil War has ended but her press tours will probably begin soon and when she’s not busy acting or engaging with her fans, Paltrow is reportedly buying up some space on the L.A. Strip to build an Arts Club, much like the London Arts Club.
According to TMZ, Paltrow along with her business partner Gary Landesberg, bought the Hustler Hollywood, a porn shop that has been a landmark on the strip for years, and will replace it with the club that prohibits swearing and costs $2,000 to attend each year. Whether or not the rumors are true, it has caused a little backlash for Paltrow.
Thankfully for her, Gwyneth Paltrow is a little too busy enjoying the sun and her family in Peru to even notice.
