‘Ride With Norman Reedus’ — Take Your First Peek At The Promo

The first peek at the television docu-drama, Ride with Norman Reedus, has been released, and it has fans very excited. It’s set to release in June and will be on the same channel as The Walking Dead, AMC.

Norman Reedus was filming for his very own show for the past few months and that fact has made fans wonder if it is a sign that he is leaving The Walking Dead. However, at this point it is just speculation and there is no clear evidence of that.

Ride with Norman Reedus is indeed happening though and there is a now a short promo clip that fans can check out.

Entertainment Weekly brought us the exclusive preview and said the following about the schedule for Ride with Norman Reedus.

“Ride With Norman Reedus – which will feature the star and a different riding companion in a different city each week as they travel to a destination and explore motorcycle culture along the way – will begin its six-episode run on AMC in June…”

Fansided says about the Ride with Norman Reedus script, “He won’t have a script to memorize either. The show is unscripted.”

In the show, Norman Reedus gets together with various guests throughout the 6 episodes. They talk, have lots of fun, and most importantly, ride their motorcycles to different locations to check out things like motorcycle events and shops, motorcycle history, and other things related to motorcycles.

The series was announced in October, 2015, and they started filming in January. They took breaks between filming, likely to account for the schedules of events and the guests that will appear on the show.

Who will be riding with Norman Reedus on the show? At this point, it is only guesswork, but Reedus said the following to Entertainment Weekly.

“We start on that this week… It’s our first ride. Our first guest is kind of a surprise, but it’s a big one, and I’m excited to get started. We have a bunch of cool places to go and cool people to meet. I’m excited to get out of here and go do that.”

One fan did capture this picture of Reedus and Balthazar Getty, who is currently filming the Twin Peaks TV series, but his appearance in the show is not confirmed at this point.

Motorcycle enthusiasts may not even know much about Norman Reedus, but they will likely be more interested in the bikes that they are riding. Reedus said that they would be using different bikes for each episode. The show is working with different motorcycle companies so that they can explore different makes and brands of motorcycles that are better suited for certain terrains and even for certain riders, he tells Entertainment Weekly.

Fans of Norman Reedus are getting excited on Twitter, and there’s even some awesome fan made GIFs!

Fans of The Walking Dead who love Daryl Dixon shouldn’t be concerned because of this new show that Norman Reedus will be starring in, though. While Daryl Dixon’s character is not guaranteed to make it to the next season, Ride with Norman Reedus will not be the reason if his character doesn’t live through the Negan slaughter that is anticipated tonight. The series only runs for 6 episodes at this point, and since they are already done filming, it won’t interfere with filming for Season 7 of The Walking Dead. It hasn’t even been confirmed yet if this is a one-time thing or if there will be another season of Ride with Norman Reedus. If a second season is scheduled, though, it will be filmed during the off time for The Walking Dead.

Reedus has certainly been busy this past year or so, and even if his character does not live to see Season 7 of The Walking Dead, there is no doubt that there will be many opportunities to see him on our televisions and in movies in the future. His new movie, Sky, is due to be released on April 15, and will have him in a role that his female fans will love — a romance! Reedus has some good things to come in the future, that is for sure!
