California Police Officer guilty of sexual assault while on duty

A former California police officer has pled guilty to charges that he sexually assaulted a woman during a traffic stop in 2007.

The charges stem from an incident on May 16, 2007, when 34 year old Officer Feliciano Sanchez admitted that during a routine traffic stop where he pulled over an unidentified woman, he forced her to perform oral sex on him. He pulled over the woman for weaving and speeding along the road. When he found out that the woman did not have a drivers license, he said he suspected she had been drinking.

Sanchez then informed the woman that her car would have to be towed and offered to give her a ride home. Instead he drove her to an isolated parking lot behind an auto repair shop and sexually assaulted her.
