Watch North Carolina Vs. Syracuse Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video For 2016 Final Four

Fans can watch the North Carolina vs. Syracuse basketball game live online and see whether the favorite or the overlooked underdog can advance to the 2016 NCAA Tournament final.

The ACC foes will meet in the second of the 2016 Final Four matchups, with the No. 1 seed Tar Heels taking on the No. 10 Orange. The game starts Saturday at 8:49 p.m. from Houston with coverage on TBS and also available live online (link to streaming video can be found below).

The third meeting between the rivals seems an unlikely one. Going into Selection Sunday, many believed that Syracuse hadn’t done enough to get an at-large bid. Their 10-seed was somewhat controversial, especially given some high-profile snubs, but the Orange have proven they belong by cruising to the Elite Eight and then knocking off top-seeded Virginia.

They have done it by the same formula that has worked for Jim Boeheim over the last three decades — a tenacious 2-3 defense.

“We just try to do what we do better. That’s all,” Boeheim said (via ESPN). “It’s a little too late in the year to be experimenting.”

Fans who watch the North Carolina vs. Syracuse game live online will see the Orange with their hardest task of the tournament. The Tar Heels are averaging 83 points a game this season, and already beat Syracuse twice this year.

It’s a common college basketball theme, however, that it’s very difficult to beat a team three times in one season.

“It’s hard for a team sometimes to go 3-0 regardless if they’re the better team,” Syracuse guard Michael Gbinije said (via ESPN). “That’s the mindset I have. I think it’s tough to beat a team three times in a row. If they do, then they deserve to be in the final game.”

Tar Heels coach Roy Williams isn’t a believer.

“If you’re better than me, you can probably beat me 20 times,” Williams said (via ESPN). “The Syracuse games, the games went right down to the wire.”

Given how close the first two games between the teams were, the Orange are confident that they can pull it off this time. The Tar Heels led by 13 when the teams met in February, but Syracuse cut it down to 3 with just 18 seconds left.

“There’s a few adjustments you make, but I think there’s always one or two shots that if you make, you win the game, or those one or two rebounds,” Syracuse forward Tyler Roberson said. “So I think it’s going to be little things we need to do. But it’s not a huge change we need to make, we were in both games with them.”

Fans who watch the North Carolina vs. Syracuse game live online will see if Roy Williams gets a chance at redemption against Jim Boeheim. Williams was the coach of Kansas in 2003 when Boeheim’s Syracuse team defeated them 81-78 in the NCAA championship.

“I remember it like it was yesterday,” Williams said (via Syracuse.com). “I said, ‘Jimmy, I’m really sad, but I’m really happy for you.’ I meant that. I’ll never forget Jimmy’s response. He basically said, ‘Thank you, but you’re going to get one, too’.”
