Everyone’s Turning Themselves Into Powerpuff Girls And You Can Too
If you’ve ever wanted to join The Powerpuff Girls, now you have your chance. As the premiere of The Powerpuff Girls nears, Cartoon Network launched a “Powerpuff Yourself” site on April 1 that allows fans to create “Powerpuff” versions of themselves. Naturally, everyone had a field day with the site.

The site, PowerpuffYourself.com, allows you to choose everything from your skin tone, hair style, eyes, mouth, glasses, and of course, your outfit. And the site isn’t just for the ladies. With a wide variety in clothes and looks and even a section for facial hair, anyone can “Powerpuff” themselves.
Once you’re done making yourself into a “Powerpuff,” you can then choose your moving background and then download your “Powerpuff” as an avatar, wallpaper, or GIF.

People all over Twitter have been having fun playing with the site, creating “Powerpuffs” of themselves and of some of their favorite characters and celebrities.

According to USA Today, Jill King, the Senior VP of Marketing for Cartoon Network, stated, “Early on, brainstorming, we wanted to give kids the opportunities to remix the Powerpuff Girls in their own ways. The team worked around the clock to create tons of different options and be super inclusive.”
Although the site is very inclusive and does offer a broad range of options, for those who still felt they couldn’t create a version of themselves on the site, they had no problem turning to Photoshop to “Powerpuff” themselves and join the fun.
I see everyone Powerpuffing themselves, so I had to photoshop one to fit my niqabi self. #PowerpuffYourself pic.twitter.com/MEH1c8jUZa

To make the “Powerpuff” transformation even more fun, King admitted the site includes some Easter Eggs as well.
“There are nods to other contemporary things relevant in kids’ lives,” King told USA Today.
Two of those Easter Eggs are hats inspired by other Cartoon Network shows, We Bare Bears and Adventure Time.
Although this marketing strategy may be the greatest idea ever, the fact that Cartoon Network rolled out the site on April Fools’ Day had many people worried it was all a prank at first.
This is possibly the best thing that could come out on April Fools' day ?

Thankfully, the site is very real and you can make as many different “Powerpuffs” as you want, which is great because although the site may have been intended for kids, adults are having a blast with it as well. For many people that grew up watching the original Powerpuff Girls series, this site is a dream come true.
Make sure to “Powerpuff” yourself while you still can. Although the site is very real, who knows how long this campaign will last? You don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to finally be a part of the Powerpuff Girls.
