Michael Phelps Steps Out With Megan Rossee At Olympic Celebration

Looks like the most celebrated Olympian Michael Phelps can work it on the red carpet as well as in the pool. Last night Phelps made his first public appearance with rumored girlfriend and model Megan Rossee on Monday for a night with Speedo.

Michael and Megan looked like the picture perfect couple as Rossee stood by his side Monday night for the Speedo Athlete celebration in London where Phelps made one of his last appearances following his world record Olympic career of 22 medals. The 2012 London Olympics are also said to be his last Olympic games.

According to sources, Phelps and Rossee began dating in January and finally decided after Michael finished competing in the Olympics to go public with their romance. The pair posed together, looking as happy as can be at the Kensington Roof Gardens.

As much as Michael Phelps kept his love life off limits during his rounds of press, if anyone wanted to know who the special girl in Michael’s life was, they would look no further than the social networking site Twitter. Before one of Michael’s races in the London Olympics, Megan tweeted her superstar swimmer, “good luck tonight bear.”

In addition to showing her support for boyfriend Michael Phelps, Megan took to Instagram, the picture sharing site, and posted a picture of her and Michael cozied up with the caption that read, “Yay Michael.” Although the couple have been quietly dating since January, according to sources, things have been “heating up just prior to the Olympics.”

For those who want to know more about Megan Rossee, the new girl in Michael’s life, the aspiring model has set up a profile on Model Mayhem and describes herself with the following: “I am super easy going and pretty much down for any type of project (that doesn’t involve nudity). I love what I do and hope to further my career as a model as well as a performer.”

Looks like Michael Phelps has a lot more to celebrate than we initially thought!
