April Fools’ Day has arrived, and Xûr isn’t fooling with the new collection of Exotic goods for Destiny players. This assortment of items for sale is the real deal for PlayStation and Xbox players.
This weekend, Xûr can be found across from the Speaker in the Tower North. Simply head to the left when you first spawn in the Tower, and you’ll find him standing in front of a large, round door across from the speaker’s entrance. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map.
Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through the morning of Sunday, April 2. He will be gone as soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET/2 a.m. PT.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The Taikonaut
This Titan Exotic Helmet is all about perks for Heavy Weapons and Rocket Launchers, in particular. The intrinsic “Air Traffic Control” perk actually gives three perks. All Rocket Launchers gain tracking, radar will stay up while aiming using a Heavy Weapon, and Heavy Weapon ammo drops more often. This is best combined with Rocket Launchers that have a “Javelin” and/or “Grenades & Horseshoes” perk. Just note that the tracking perk is currently bugged and will disable tracking for Rocket Launchers that already have it.
The Taikonaut also comes with the choice between “Inverse Shadow” for bonus Super Energy from minion kills or “Heavy Lifting” for bonus Super energy from Heavy Weapon kills. The final column perk is “Innervation” for bonus grenade energy on Orb pickup.
The split 51 Intellect and 46 Strength rolls are solid for this helmet. “Inverse Shadow” is perfect for PVE play, although “Better Already” or “Infusion” would be better in the final column.
Sealed Ahamkara Grasps
This Year Two Exotic Gauntlet piece for Hunters works well with the new Nightstalker subclass, as well as Bladedancers, due to the extra melee charge. This will give Hunters the ability to go invisible twice, which is always a bonus in PVE and sometimes in PVP, too.
The second column random perk rolls include “Switchblade” for reduced melee cooldown time and “Impact Induction” for bonus grenade energy on melee hits. The third column optional perks offer a choice between faster Sidearm or Machine Gun reloading.
The 70 pure Strength stat roll is decent for Destiny players. Glass Needles usage should be considered for potentially better stats and/or to get the reload perks for your most used weapons.
Apotheosis Veil
The Apotheosis Veil lost its uniqueness from Year One when Bungie introduced the Infusion and Better Already perks in Year Two. This resulted in the helmet’s intrinsic perk being boosted to grant full health, melee, and grenade energy when activating a Super.
The optional perks have the right roll with “Inverse Shadow” for extra Super energy from minion kills and “Second Thoughts” for bonus Super energy from Special Weapon kills. The third column perk is set for the aforementioned “Invigoration” with bonus melee energy after picking up Orbs of Light.
The 77 Intellect stat roll is excellent for the helmet. This helmet’s utility is primarily in PVE activities, and the perk rolls match that perfectly. “Better Already” or “Infusion” would make better final column perks and would be the only reason to consider a re-roll with Glass Needles.
