Mischa Barton Coming Off As Nightmare On ‘DWTS’ Set

When fans found out that Mischa Barton would be on Dancing with the Stars this season, they were excited to see the actress and her moves. So far, Mischa hasn’t done a great job on the show, and now it turns out that she is acting like a nightmare on the set, according to an insider. Radar Online shared that the source is revealing Mischa is just not coming off as a nice person this season.

The insider went on to share that the people on the set were excited for Mischa Barton to be on the show, but it’s not going as they hoped.

Here is what the insider revealed.

“It is really quite unfortunate because when she first came on the show, members of the cast and crew said they were hoping that she was going to be the person that they used to love watching on TV. They were actually really excited to meet her.”

The insider explained that Mischa Barton doesn’t really care who she is rude to and said that she acts like a “self-entitled and rude celebrity that the employees of the show have ever had to work with.” A perfect example is last Monday when Mischa didn’t even hug Geraldo Rivera after he got kicked off the show. Mischa was the only celebrity not to reach out to him and give him a hug, and she actually acted like she didn’t even care he was going home. There is a feeling on set that Mischa might just be there for the money.

Mischa Barton is speaking out and saying that she wants to bounce back from the bad week she had on the show. Us Magazine shared what Mischa had to say about putting it all out there and trying to do better this week. On Monday, Mischa did end up in the bottom three and was in jeopardy of going home. It was seen that during rehearsals, she was answering people with “whatever” and coming off as someone not super happy to be there. Mischa is ready to put the bad week behind her and said part of the problem was being sick.

“We both got sick since last week which wasn’t great, so on antibiotics, trying to get through the dance, through our cha cha and stay positive … You have five days to learn it and get through it, and when you’re not feeling 100 percent from the last dance, [it’s tough].”

Mischa has plans for a positive attitude this next week and hopefully that will make her do better on the dance floor. She shared her plan of attack.

“I think we’ll probably get back to a better place now. I just feel like this whole week just psyched me out, and maybe now it’s time to just attack it with positivity.”

At this point, if Mischa Barton doesn’t step things up, she will end up going home soon. Her attitude is seen by the viewers, and that can’t be good for the votes either. If she is in it for the money, the longer she sticks around, the better paycheck she will get, so Mischa might want to think about that when the camera is on her.

Are you shocked to hear that Mischa Barton isn’t acting like she is happy to be on Dancing with the Stars this season? Do you think that will end up sticking around for long? Sound off in the comments below, and don’t miss new episodes of DWTS on Mondays on ABC.
