WWE Rumors: Top Rumors For Andre The Giant Battle Royal At ‘WrestleMania 32’ — Who Will Enter? Who Will Win?

It may be a match that includes a lot of superstars who aren’t in a big feud or have a high-profile match, but that doesn’t make it any less important. The 3rd annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is taking place at WrestleMania 32, and there are actually a lot of rumors swirling around about it. There could be some big returns, surprise entrants, and a winner that no one is expecting at all.

Two years ago in New Orleans, the first ever battle royal took place with Cesaro coming out as the big winner. Last year, at WrestleMania 31, it was Big Show who won in rather expected fashion considering the man’s pure size and strength.

Now, this year has 16 names featured for the bout, but there are expected to be a total of 20 once things get officially started. WWE.com has revealed the updated list, and there are still a few slots available for surprise entrants.

  • Heath Slater
  • Curtis Axel
  • Adam Rose
  • Bo Dallas
  • Big Show
  • Kane
  • Tyler Breeze
  • Mark Henry
  • Jack Swagger
  • Fandango
  • Damien Sandow
  • Darren Young
  • Konnor
  • Viktor
  • Goldust
  • R-Truth

With spots open and the match now on the main WrestleMania card, here are some of the top rumors going around for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

The Wyatt Family will be entrants in the match

Not a single member of The Wyatt Family is scheduled for a match or even an appearance at WrestleMania 32. With WWE naming 16 of the 20 entrants in the battle royal, it is thought that those remaining four spots would go to Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper.

Harper just recently underwent successful surgery for a leg injury of some kind, and that means he certainly won’t be in the match. That would then leave one spot open if the other three Wyatt members were put into the match.

Cesaro will make his long-awaited return after being out due to injury

It has been revealed and rumored that Cesaro would return to WWE television sometime in April after being out for months due to injury. Well, it now appears as if he may be coming back sooner than anyone anticipated.

Lillian Garcia posted this picture on Instagram on Thursday, and it shows her riding in a car in Dallas with Dolph Ziggler and Cesaro. Not only is Cesaro in Dallas, but he doesn’t have his surgically repaired shoulder/arm in a sling either.

Finn Balor will make his WWE main roster debut

Depending on who fills up the empty slots or even if WWE keeps the capacity at just 20, the NXT Champion could make a huge debut. Finn Balor is taking on Samoa Joe on Friday night, and by the end of the evening, he may no longer even have the NXT Title.

One way or the other, rumors are swirling that Finn Balor could make his debut in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but if not, then the night after on Monday Night Raw.

Braun Strowman will win the match and get a huge push

Now, if the Wyatts do enter the match, there have been rumors for months that Braun Strowman would win the whole thing. Apparently, Strowman has been seen as the pet project of Vince McMahon, and winning the battle royal would begin a big 2016 push for the monster.

Unless plans have changed, this would eventually lead to Strowman having a big league match-up with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in August. The way the Wyatts have seen their push disappear in recent months though — this may be a rumor long thrown out the window.

Strowman is still the leader in the betting odds for WrestleMania 32 with Bray Wyatt the second best bet, but neither of them are even officially in the match. Third is Mark Henry followed by Randy Orton, who also isn’t even in the match as of this time.

To show you the importance of this match, it was originally scheduled to be a part of the Kickoff Show. Now, it has been moved up to the main card of WrestleMania 32, as reported by WrestleZone. This leads many to believe that something big happening in the match so any of these rumors could possibly come true.

WrestleMania 32 is going to have a lot of big matches and plenty of things for fans to take notice of and watch for. The 3rd annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is becoming quite important and the rumors swirling around for it are huge and it will be interesting to see which ones come true.
