The Mega Millions winning numbers and winners are in and no one won the grand prize. The jackpot has rolled from an estimated $43 million to $50 million. Mega Millions jackpots always reset to $15 million after a jackpot win and slowly roll until the next grand prize winner. The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on April 1 at 11:00 p.m. ET. The winning numbers are 33, 38, 40, 46, 49 and the mega ball is 15. The megaplier is 5 x.

It was a slow night for Mega Millions players as the megaplier was at 5x, that would have increased the second-tier and third-tier amounts, but there were no second-tier winners at all. There was one winning ticket for the third-tier prize (normally $5,000) that used the megaplier and won $25,000. Fifteen winning tickets were sold that won the third-tier prize without the megaplier for a win of $5,000 each.

The fourth-tier prize consists of matching four of the white balls minus the mega ball. The prize without the megaplier for the fourth-tier is $500. There were 249, fourth-tier prizes and of those 24 used the megaplier option and won $2,500.

The next Mega Millions drawing takes place on Friday, April 1, and while the cash value for the jackpot is $50 million, the estimated cash value for taking a lump sump payout is $32 million.

Mega Millions is the second-most popular lottery game played in the United States. It is played in 44 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Washington, D.C.
