Catelynn Lowell Rehab Update, ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star To Be Home ‘Soon’
Catelynn Lowell made a brave decision earlier this month. She checked herself into an inpatient rehab facility in Arizona to deal with anxiety and depression issues. It is the same facility Teen Mom franchise co-star Leah Messer used last year. Lowell had been open about her struggle with post-partum depression since Novalee’s birth, and the increasingly levels of anxiety that came along with it. Tyler Baltierra noticed something was off with his wife, and he struggled to be able to help her. Even when the Teen Mom OG reunion aired a few weeks ago, it was clear that Lowell was still struggling.
Details surrounding Catelynn Lowell and her rehab stay have been few and far in between. She checked into the facility on March 16, and a release date isn’t confirmed. According to the Ashley, Catelynn Lowell will likely be home April 16, which will have given her a month stay in the facility. It was confirmed that she received visits from her husband, Tyler Baltierra, and their daughter, Novalee. Lowell’s mother, April also flew to Arizona to see her daughter. The amount of support she has received from co-stars and fans has been overwhelming. Lowell knew she had to do something to help herself, and an inpatient facility was the best option.
It is unclear whether or not Catelynn Lowell is being filmed for Teen Mom OG while in rehab, or if they are strictly filming Tyler Baltierra and Novalee. The other ladies have confirmed they are filming the next season, but nothing about Lowell has been addressed. Leah Messer didn’t film while in rehab, but it is unclear whether that was by choice or because the facility didn’t allow it. Lowell has not been active on social media since the day she left for treatment. The announcement that she was headed to get help sparked a lot of support among her social media followers. Lowell had mentioned earlier that her fans have helped her a lot, and sometimes outside support is necessary.
