Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowski Go Topless On Instagram, Flip Off Haters

Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski took their tops off for a new Instagram photo, flipping off the haters at the same time. On Wednesday afternoon, Kim Kardashian posted the topless photo (see it here) of herself with Emily Ratajkowski while standing in front of a bathroom mirror without their shirts on. Although their breasts were censored with a black bar, the girls were posing with their middle fingers in the air, likely sending a message to anyone who doesn’t approve of their sexy (times two) pic.

It all started earlier this month, when Kim Kardashian decided to post a nude photo (censored, of course) and make a joke about not having anything to wear. She received a ridiculous amount of hate from people — even celebrities — who evidently found the picture offensive. The mother-of-two hit back at Bette Midler, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Piers Morgan in a series of tweets before posting another nude photo captioned, “liberated.”

One person who defended Kim Kardashian, however, was Emily Ratajkowski (you may know her from the Entourage movie or Gone Girl). Now, the two have teamed up to take their tops off together — and the internet is kind of loving it.

Shortly after Kim Kardashian posted the photo on Twitter and Instagram, Emily Ratajkowski sent out the following two tweets.

Thousands of people have retweeted the photo and Emily Ratajkowski’s follow-up tweets, many supporting the two brunettes on their apparent quest to let everyone know that they don’t give a darn about what people think of them or their decision to share their bodies with the world.

According to Us Weekly, Kim Kardashian took to her website after being slammed for her (censored) nude photo earlier this month.

“I am empowered by my sexuality. I am empowered by feeling comfortable in my skin. I am empowered by showing the world my flaws and not being afraid of what anyone is going to say about me. And I hope that through this platform I have been given, I can encourage the same empowerment for girls and women all over the world.”

Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski became super fast friends after the incident as Emily stood up for Kim, tweeting the following.

“Love when a man comments on a woman’s decision to post a nude photo. Her body, her career. Sexist bullsh*t. @KimKardashian.”

Kardashian sent Ratajkowski flowers as a way to say “thank you” for the support. The message that both women are sending out today is loud and clear. Both women believe that they should be free to pose naked if they want to because they own their bodies, and they feel empowered by being beautiful women. That may not be something that everyone agrees with or that everyone understands, but that certainly won’t stop these two from sharing themselves with the world.

Do you think Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski took a stand for something positive today? Do you think the two will have even more haters, or was this a good way for them to shut everyone up? Sound off in the comments below.

At the time that this article was written, over 672,000 people “liked” Kim and Emily’s topless photo on Instagram.
