‘Real Housewives’ Star Lisa Rinna: ‘I Never Said Yolanda Had Munchausen’

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna finally gathered up the courage to confront Lisa Vanderpump about the various rumors that were circulating about their mutual Real Housewives co-star, Yolanda Foster. Throughout the entire season, the ladies had been questioning Yolanda’s illness, because they thought that maybe she had started with lyme disease but that her illness had grown into something else. Vanderpump had supposedly pushed Rinna into confronting Yolanda about the Munchausen claims, and the drama came to blows on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

According to a new report, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna is now explaining that she never thought that Yolanda had Munchausen. She simply engaged in a conversation with someone who thought she could be making herself sick. Even though Rinna has been accused of starting the Munchausen discussions on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she’s now revealing that she wasn’t the one who got worked up about it.

“I never said Yolanda had Munchausen. I said I took part in conversation about the M word, and I felt badly about being a part of it. I then went to Yolanda and told her about the conversation and apologized. It should have ended there. This whole situation is not black and white, it’s very gray, and yes, there were speculations, questions and concerns among all of us. LVP and Kyle certainly played their part in questioning Yolanda’s illness and the motives for her Instagram posts, and I felt once I said Munchausen they both back-tracked and let me just take all the s**t for it, which I did. And I own that. But that’s all it was, a conversation. Not a diagnosis or a label as none of us is a doctor,” Rinna explains in her Real Housewives blog.

Of course, many of the ladies have questioned Foster’s illness on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, especially since she was posting Instagram pictures from her life. In some pictures, she would be happy on a vacation and in others, she would be hooked up to IVs and trying various treatments around the world. It was confusing to the Real Housewives ladies, but fans didn’t think it was so serious.

“Before I ever brought up the M word, LVP and Kyle were both questioning Yolanda’s illness, her Instagram posts, whether it really was Lyme or if it could possibly be fibromyalgia, depression, menopause… or possibly something triggered by a terrible event, much like Kyle’s symptoms after her mother died,” Lisa explains about Yolanda’s journey on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

It’s no secret that Rinna does think that her co-star is using her illness for attention. She doesn’t doubt that her co-star is sick, but she may be wondering what she is sick with. She opened up about her questions to her co-star, Eileen Davidson, during a walk on the beach on a previous episode and she explained her frustrations.

“I may have gone too far with Eileen on the beach. I admit that it was in the heat of the moment, but boy did it feel good to release it and free myself!” this Real Housewives star explains of the moment, revealing that she may just have been a little heated thanks to Lisa Vanderpump. As it turns out, she ended up confronting Vanderpump on Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, asking her why she kept trying to manipulate the situation.

What do you think of the drama on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Are you surprised that the Munchausen thing has taken over?
