Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Spend $200K On New Car

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are such popular celebrities that they even make news when buying an expensive car. TMZ has the news.

“Kim Kardashian and Kanye West added some shiny new wheels to their fleet, but their luxury ride is missing one important option. Kimye splurged on a white Maybach, which they drove Monday to an appearance on Khloe Kardashian’s TV show. Here’s the thing… Maybachs are typically chauffeur driven… but there was Kanye behind the wheel as they pulled away yesterday.”

TMZ says the base price for this Benz is typically $200,000. And there was no financing involved. Commenters after the article certainly aren’t happy for Kanye and Kim.

“The value of this car went WAY down the moment these two drove if off the lot,” claims commenter 2idiots.

“Car must have a lot of room in it…to fit those two huge egos..” says General Bonus.

This news comes at a good time for Kanye West as it has just been revealed that his album The Life of Pablo has been streamed millions of times, according to CNN Money.

“Kanye West may boast a lot on social media, but he brings in the listeners. West’s latest album The Life of Pablo was streamed 250 million times globally in its first 10 days of release on music streaming service Tidal, the company announced on Tuesday.”

The article adds that while Kanye West’s latest feat is impressive, it’s not unheard of. After all, Justin Bieber’s Purpose had 100 million audio streams in the U.S. alone the first week in December. The difference, however, is that Life of Pablo has been exclusive to Tidal, which had an incredibly shaky start in early 2015. However, things are looking up for the service that was started by Jay-Z. International Business Times reports on the state of Tidal.

“Tidal was thought to be struggling with subscription numbers but Jay Z attempted to set the record straight in a Twitter rant hashtagged #TidalFacts. Then, in September, the service announced it had reached one million subscribers and threw a huge concert to celebrate.”

The article notes that Rihanna’s Anti and Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo albums recently helped the service as well. It is highly rumored that Beyoncé will be dropping an album on Tidal soon as well.

In other Kanye West news, it appears that he is about to announce tour dates, at least according to the Independent.

“Kanye West fans are getting psyched for an imminent tour announcement. Two US radio stations have posted – and swiftly deleted – tweets about summer live shows from the rapper in support of his latest album, The Life of Pablo.”

The article adds that one Portland station claimed West would be playing the city’s MODA center on July 8, while DJ Ryan Cameron from Atlanta’s V103 announced a competition to win tickets to an August 5 show in the city.
