Tim Tebow Could Be Interested In A Politics Career In The Future

Tim Tebow is one of the most polarizing figures in sports, but he could be looking at venturing outside the sports world. He is a very influential person outside of sports, as well, and is a very popular man. There are many different avenues that Tebow could pursue other than the NFL, and he may end up doing so in the coming years.

During an interview with TMZ Sports, Tebow said that a future career in politics would be intriguing.

“I don’t know in this time in my life. If there’s a chance you can make a difference some day in something, then that would be intriguing.”

It is certainly an interesting question to say the very least. Tebow may not be cut out to be an NFL quarterback, but it has become obvious throughout his football career that he is a great person off-the-field and a hard worker. Putting those skills to use along with his personality would make for an interesting political career.

While his skill-set has been questioned throughout his career, Tebow has also had many issues with those angry about his steadfast faith. He has been very open about his relationship with God and has not been willing to stop sharing his faith publicly.

Throughout his career, Tebow has received a lot of hateful comments from the media for his faith.

A career in politics might be a stretch, but Tebow has the opportunity to be very helpful to others. If he did choose to make a run at a position, it would be interesting to see what kind of vote he got. He has a lot of diehard fans, but he also has a lot of diehard enemies that would be completely against him being in office.

There is a chance that Tebow’s football career is over after he was unable to make the Philadelphia Eagles’ roster last season. If that is indeed the case, he will finish his career with a 47.9 completion percentage for 2,422 yards, 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions. Tebow will also have racked up 989 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.

Back in his one season of glory with the Denver Broncos, Tebow showed that he can win as an NFL quarterback. Unfortunately, winning isn’t the only thing that decides whether a player sticks around in the league.

At 28-years-old, Tebow has plenty of time to figure out what he wants to do with his future. Deciding to pursue a career in politics right now makes him a bit behind the curve, but he has overcome a lot already to get where he is now.

It isn’t very often that athletes attempt to become politicians, but Tebow is one of the athletes that could make it work. Tebow is very smart and has the same type of charisma and personality that politicians have. One difference that could set Tebow apart from the regular politician is his faith and honesty.

Looking at the current world of politics, there are not many men who would be willing to take a stand for what is right like Tebow would want to do.

Obviously this news will be intriguing to keep an eye on as Tebow continues forward. He isn’t likely to look at getting into politics in the next year or two, but as time goes by there could be an opportunity that arises. Whether he would take that opportunity or not is another question.

All of that being said, it is very interesting to think about Tebow being in politics and it would feel like a holiday in the media.
