Scheana Shay Responds To Plastic Surgery Speculation And Criticism Over Texts Re: Ariana Madix’s BF Tom Sandoval

Has Scheana Shay changed her appearance through plastic surgery? As Part 2 of the Vanderpump Rules reunion aired on Monday night, there was a lot of speculation from viewers that Scheana has gone under the knife because of how different she looks now compared to when the show began. Yet, according to Scheana, her changed appearance is due to a healthier lifestyle, although she did admit to some cosmetic procedures that she has done for years. Scheana also responded to continued criticism over her texts to Ariana Madix’s mom regarding Tom Sandoval. Scheana revealed that the full reason behind her negative texts was edited out.

Scheana admitted that she gets Botox injections. Scheana explained that she started getting Botox when she was 25, before she started appearing on the reality show.

Scheana also admitted to getting her lips injected with Juvederm, a filler, two years ago, which has only required one touch up since.

In response to one viewer who expressed disappointment over Scheana now looking so “plastic” and no looking like the “hottie” that she once was, Scheana replied that there’s nothing plastic about her.

Scheana expressed frustration that people think that she has had plastic surgery when she in fact has lost weight.

Just how much weight has Scheana lost? According to her, 20 pounds. She said that people ask her daily if she’s sick since losing 20 pounds.

Scheana credits her weight loss to gym sessions, which she began in June, 2015.

Scheana also explained that she’s now better at contouring and applying makeup since the show began.

She maintained that if she got plastic surgery, she wouldn’t hide it.

“I don’t care what they think but I’m trying to set the record straight. I own my s**t. If I had surgery, I’d say so!”

Scheana Shay also tweeted about the drama regarding her texts to Ariana Madix’s mom regarding her boyfriend Tom Sandoval. During the season, Ariana and Tom lashed out at Scheana after it was revealed that Scheana’s had sent Ariana’s mom texts that were negative about Tom. Scheana defended herself by saying that Ariana’s mom, concerned about her daughter, reached out to her first, and that her texts were just her honest opinion about Tom at that moment.

In her texts, Scheana wrote that Tom believes that he’s better than everybody else and that she’s worried that his arrogant and cocky attitude was rubbing off on Ariana. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Scheana actually released a portion of the text messages that she exchanged with Ariana’s mom. Scheana, perhaps realizing that it was a bad idea to publicly show the exact text messages, later deleted the snapshot of the text discussion.

During the reunion show, Ariana and Tom continued to criticize Scheana about the texts. Scheana continued to defend herself.

In response to one viewer who asked how Scheana expressing concern for Ariana equates to “s**t talking,” Scheana said that she’s still confused herself. Scheana also revealed that the full reason behind why she said those things about Tom was edited out.

Did Scheana and Tom have some kind of falling out that viewers did not see? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Scheana wrote in January, 2016, that when she sent Ariana’s mom those texts about Tom, which took place in December, 2014, she and Tom “were not in a good place” and that she was going through a difficult time herself. Scheana added that a lot happened that December that viewers will never know or see, so it seems that she intends on keeping the full story to herself.

While Ariana Madix has since forgiven Scheana Shay for those negative texts about Tom Sandoval and they’re still friends, they’re apparently not best friends anymore. Ariana wrote in her latest blog for Vanderpump Rules that she doesn’t think that her friendship with Scheana will ever be the same, and that she’s fine with that.

“Probably not, but that’s ok. The future is always better than the past. When Scheana and I were at our closest, I was at a personal low. I’d rather everything be on a higher level.”
