Angelina Jolie Looks Alarmingly Skinny, ‘Overburdened’ Marriage To Brad Pitt To Blame?

Angelina Jolie’s health continues to decline as questions of a potential breakup loom large over the actress. Jolie’s recent public appearance had many fans worried about her weight loss while others wondered why the Tomb Raider star looks so alarmingly skinny. Is her marriage with Brad Pitt at the source of her health scare?

According to the International Business Times, Jolie was recently spotted with her children in London. The actress looked even skinnier than ever during her public outing with kids Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 9, and Knox and Vivienne, 7.

In fact, a source explained how Jolie looked “pale, gaunt, and exhausted” and how she is now “like a shell of he former self… She’s under 100 pounds – just skin and bones.”

Jolie’s health scare follows rumors of a potential divorce with Pitt. In regards to her marriage, the source went on to reveal that Jolie’s state of health has only deteriorated while the couple continues to have problems.

“The strain of fighting with him and their impending divorce have sapped her strength and caused her to lose even more weight,” the insider shared. “It’s going to be bad if she doesn’t put the brakes on soon. She’s overworked, overstressed, and emotionally overburdened. She’s headed for a complete physical and emotional breakdown.”

Concerns about Jolie’s weight loss have surfaced in the past. According to News Everyday, the actress first raised questions over her weight during her appearance on the red carpet in promotion for her newest animated film, Kung Fu Panda 3.

Angelina Jolie wore a short black dress for the event, which exposed just how skinny she has become in recent months. During the red carpet outing, Jolie explained away her appearance by stating that she hadn’t had time to properly prepare for the red carpet.

Meanwhile, Radar Online is reporting that Pitt may already have his eyes set on someone new. An inside source told the outlet that Pitt is trying hard to get model and actress Cara Delevingne to work with him on a new project. Apparently, the World War Z star is looking to sign Delevingne to his production company, Plan B.

“Brad thinks Cara’s talents haven’t been explored properly and he wants to take her under his wing,” the source stated. “He’s hoping she might sign an ongoing deal with his company.”

Pitt wanted to get Delevingne to star alongside him in the sequel to World War Z. However, scheduling conflicts prevented her from committing to the movie. Even still, Pitt is not giving up that easily on the burgeoning actress.

“He’s opened his contacts book to her and given her numbers of the best acting teachers in Hollywood,” the source said. “He really thinks she’s got what it takes to win an Oscar.”

Considering Pitt’s interactions with Delevingne, is it possible that he’s already trying to distance himself from Jolie? Is her decline in health a response to their marriage falling apart?

At this time, it isn’t known exactly what is going on behind the scenes. Although Jolie’s drastic changes in health indicate that things are not going well, they could also be a result of Jolie’s obsessive work habits.

After all, Jolie recently praised her husband for his efforts in his newest flick, The Big Short, adding even more mystery to the status of their relationship. In speaking about his nominations for an Oscar, Jolie expressed her pride with how well he did in the movie.

“I’m always proud of him because of all the work he does, and how he balances his family life and work,” Jolie stated. “I love him, I’m proud of his film.”
