Kristen Stewart’s New Girlfriend SoKo Reveals She Once Dated Robert Pattinson
Kristen Stewart and SoKo are very much in love, but they do have one thing in common that makes things a little bit awkward between them: they both dated Robert Pattinson, the Hollywood Life reports.
SoKo, whose real name is Stephanie Sokolinksi, revealed in an interview with A Music Blog, Yea? that she once dated Robert Pattinson, whom as we all know was Kristen Stewart’s love interest in the Twilight movies. Robert and Kristen dated for a long time, which makes the Twilight star’s hookup with SoKo such an incredible coincidence.

During the interview, SoKo recalled mulling over the idea of moving from Seattle to New York until a dream inspired her to move to Los Angeles instead. Three days after landing in Los Angeles, SoKo had a chance encounter with another girl who made the date with Robert Pattinson possible.
Yeah, it was the best thing ever! Three nights in, I went out and met a girl who was like ‘Hey, I like your music, I work for a label and we would love to sign you. Where are you staying, do you need a place to stay?’ and I was like ‘Yeah I do’ That same night I had a blind date with Robert Pattinson!
SoKo didn’t divulge further on what exactly happened during her date with Pattinson, but one could assume that it was a once-and-done affair. Robert Pattinson, for his part, is very much in love with 28-year-old singer FKA Twigs, whom he already proposed marriage to.
SoKo, a popular French musician and actress, admitted to not having much knowledge about Kristen Stewart before she made the move to LA. In the interview, SoKo described herself as a person who has a strong sense of adventure. “I’m Scorpio, very stubborn, passionate, craving for adventures all the time,” SoKo said.
SoKo spilled details about her relationship with Stewart in a more recent interview with W. In a conversation about exchanging racy messages on Instagram, SoKo told the magazine that she was not in the least tempted to stray from her current relationship, saying, “I’m very, very, very in love and very happy in a relationship, so I don’t have that urge.” Could she be referring to Stewart?
On March 14, rumors about Kristen Steward and SoKo dating started to circulate online after the pair were spotted holding hands at an airport in Paris. In the photos, SoKo was seen giving Kristen a bunch of roses and then wrapping her arm around her. Later that day, SoKo and Kristen were again spotted having a nice stroll around Paris. In some of the photos, SoKo were seen leaning her head on Stewart’s shoulder.
Since then, the musician has posted several Instagram photos suggesting that she’s involved in a long-distance relationship, which no doubt explains her meet up with Stewart at the Paris airport.
In one Instagram post, the “Take My Heart” songstress is seen holding her phone along with the caption “Facetime romance.” In another, she put herself in a video telling her followers that she needs to call a doctor because she is “love sick.” Another Instagram photo where SoKo is seen with a sad face and the words “I miss her” superimposed on it. “When you go see The Libertines, and it’s her faves, and she’s not here,” her caption went.
Since hookup rumors between Stewart and SoKo went its rounds on the internet, multiple sources claimed that K-Stew only dated the French musician just so she can have her revenge against Pattinson on account of his relationship with FKA Twigs. While Kristen has yet to confirm the relationship with SoKo, Gossip Cop debunked the claims, writing that they are “complete nonsense.”
The 25-year-old Kristen Stewart, who is known for being aloof and detached in TV appearances and interviews, explained to Nylon magazine in 2015 why she refuses to define her sexuality.
“If you feel you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it,” Stewart said. “But I am an actress, man. I live in the f—–g ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out!’ No, I do a job.”
