Phaedra Parks Gives Parenting Advice To Kenya Moore: Does She Regret Exposing Her Secret?

Phaedra Parks recently decided to share the news that Kenya Moore may be pregnant. Parks said that she had heard some rumors about Moore being pregnant, and the story quickly spread. In fact, it spread so fast that Andy Cohen asked Kenya at the reunion special, to which Moore revealed that she couldn’t talk about it right now. But when she can talk about it, she will. And maybe Parks regrets spilling the beans because she’s now dishing out advice.

According to a new Bravo report, Phaedra Parks has some things to say about motherhood — maybe in hopes of inspiring Kenya.

“Motherhood is the best job that I have, so any woman that feels that they would like to be a mother, I would hope that they could have that experience,” Phaedra told the Daily Dish exclusively after Kenya mentioned the pregnancy on the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, adding, “I don’t think there’s a handbook that comes with pregnancy — there’s plenty that comes with pregnancy — but about raising successful children and I think it’s trial and error.”

And Phaedra seems to be all about putting her children first, as she’s taking care of her children when Apollo Nida is in jail. Parks is balancing parenting two children, running several businesses, and filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta. In other words, Parks knows that she can’t think of herself first. And she wants Kenya Moore to know that she can’t be putting herself first when she becomes a mother.

“I think you have to place your children first. I think you have to be selfless. I think you have to know it’s really about the children and not about you anymore,” Phaedra Parks reveals about motherhood, adding, “So I think the love that you have for your child is incomparable to any other relationship you will ever have.”

Parks revealed that Kenya may be pregnant when she did an interview on a radio show. It is no secret that Phaedra doesn’t like Kenya, so when she dished on the rumor, it did seem like she was trying to take a special moment away from Moore. Kenya didn’t address the issue after hearing the interview, and her silence has made people question whether she is indeed pregnant. Rather than confirm or deny, she revealed that she would be in a high-risk stage right now.

“If I were pregnant it would be a high risk pregnancy due to my age,” Kenya wrote in her Bravo blog after the first reunion special aired, where Andy asked her about the pregnancy. “I feel more comfortable if and when my doctors feel I am in a safe stage to confirm a pregnancy. I appreciate all the amazing fans who are wishing me well. It feels good to know everyone is rooting for me and my happiness.”

It is definitely interesting that Phaedra is now dishing out some parenting advice, especially since she was the first to possibly out the pregnancy. One can imagine that Moore isn’t too happy about that, but it sounds like Parks is trying to rebuild their relationship. According to the Daily Mail, Phaedra does have other things on her plate, including possibly taking another trip to visit her estranged husband. Phaedra wasn’t too keen on bringing her sons back, because she saw and experienced things in prison that she didn’t like when she was visiting Nida. At this point, she has only visited him once, and he has only seen his children once in about 20 months.

What do you think of Phaedra Parks’ advice to Kenya Moore, who could be expecting her first child?
